Dr. Noftall was quite aggressive with some of the treatment, and does not warn patients what she is doing - therefore, of course things come as a surprise, and she does not take your reactions kindly.

There was no warning when I was getting the eye drops that they sting, horribly. She expects you to not need to adjust to the pain and immediately follow her demands.

When I had to close my eyes to control the pain I was in, she had no patience and demanded I stop, regardless of my prior warnings to her that bright lights cause me severe pain.

She did not warn me that one of the machines would physically touch my eyeball, so when I pulled away in surprise, she hooked her fingers behind my jaw around the pressure point and pulled me forward again; making a point to force my head back into the forehead and jaw bars. I felt like I was being treated like an animal, there was no compassion.

Her staff are very kind and responsive to questions, but the doctor herself is very unpleasant and dismissive.

I felt degraded after my visit and I tried to understand why I had that bad feeling. The way she talked to me it seemed she is somebody and I am nobody. Not impressed. Skills, knowledge and expertise without touch of human relationship is robotic.

This doctor has no empathy, is disrespectful and I feel there’s something wrong with her. At my appointment she did not communicate That I had cateracts , I had to find ou t from my optometrist who said “no wonder you can’t see you have almost two complete cateracts!
My vision is so bad I cannot drive or read and have not been able to for 6 months. This have affected my life, my well being and safety. Finally I have another appointment with another doctor through my optometrist!!

DR Noftall is a nice, professional Woman that really knows her stuff. Her staff are very friendly, and professional people that make you feel at home.

I am very upset about how Dr. Noftall treated my mother who has macular degeneration. At her last appointment, my mother mentioned that her vision was getting worse. Dr. Noftall replied "What do you expect? You're 92 years old. I won't make any further appointments." Totally disrespectful.

I read the negative comments and went to see Dr. Noftall half in fear. I found her to be professional, friendly, asking questions about my job before retirement and explaining everything to me about my case. I can only speak about my experience and I have absolutely no complaints. Her staff is great too. I wonder if some patients are just difficult to please.

Thank you Dr Noftall! She is caring, knowledgeable, and very good at informing the patient and family. My mom (Gwen) was given top notch care when she went for surgery with Dr Noftall. If you are referred to her rest assured you are in good hands.

Wish I could give Dr. N a 10 out of 5 on knowledge. She has been outstanding caring for me over the past few years. Her staff are A++ and she is brilliant.
