Heaping Trauma Upon Trauma
I met this person during my MAID assessment, initially nice enough. Assured me this was approved verbally but reluctant to follow up in writing. Then in violation of the process calls unannounced and cross examines and interrogates a chronically ill person dealing with end of life matters , she barks and raises her voice. Humiliated me and verbally abused me, condescending and just vile in general. Not only can she not work her computer she cannot follow the process. Thinks she is significantly more important and intelligent than she is.

Dr Kenshole is amazing when I got an app with her through the Tridec clinic at Women's College my sugar levels were out of control but she put me on a new medication and eventually on insulin as my goal was to get pregnant. She was extremely helpful throughout my pregnancy and I know I now have a healthy 4 year old because of her guidance and care. I moved out of Toronto and no longer see Dr Kenshole but having visited other drs I can see the difference in care and knowledge. Now she will tell you about your weight issues and I did feel like she doesnt understand the difficulty some of us face with weight but she did offer a lot of helpful info and a good kick on the but :) During my pregnancy I felt that she was a little to cautious with myh weight gain during pregnancy I do understand she did it out of concern. If you have concerns or you have your own opinion on things she doesnt take it well. I say that the end result, at lieast for me, justifies the means. Great Dr for sure!

I really think she is an excellent doctor in many ways but she seems unable to appreciate the problems overweight individuals experience She put me on Avandia, then Actos, she said Januvia would not help me at all. I gained 35 pounds on Actos. It took me 2 years to lose that. I am now on Januvia (prescribed by a different doctor) and my blood sugars normalized. I lost two years of my life to Actos and at the time I asked her for Januvia which does not put on any weight at all. She simply said Januvia would not do a thing for me. It was a huge set back for me and she seemed to have a lot of issues with the over weight. I have no doubt she is knowledgeable and certainly knows her stuff but...

You are a very lucky person indeed if Dr. Kenshole is your endocrinologist. I was with her from the age of 18 & stayed with her for over 32 years. If I had not moved from Toronto I would still be seeing her and I miss her terribly. She is fully aware of what a diabetic's needs are & is always there to give you a hand. Help yourself to do the right thing in managing your diabetes - give her a call & let her set you on the right path. No other doctor will ever come close to being as attentive, compassionate, and brilliant. I can't say enough things about her. If you know your condition, and you work hard at managing your own lifestyle, you will always have a true ally in Dr. Kenshole. She's one in a million!! TRULY! rh

Dr. Kenshole has been my endocrinologist for 28 years. She is a brilliant, intuative Knowlegable doctor like no other. There is nothing about diabetes that escapes her. She LISTENS to all of your concerns follows through on every directive and is always available. She looks after the whole you not just the diabetic concerns because she knows everything about you will mirror in your diabetic health. I fear the day she finally decides to close her office for good. You will find me attached to her door begging her to stay. I attribute her support and care for my success as a healthy diabetic, no complications and the mother of 4. I know she is not replaceable and I value having her as my endocrinologist. HS

I have to agree if you are not willing to work with Dr.K on solutons to maintaining good blood sugars ,then you have the wrong Dr in mind indeed. Dr.K you are the most honest,caring and strict Dr I have ever met.Thanks for not sugar coating life down falls. I have been seeing you since I was 18yrs old ,I am now 41yrs and never have I felt you not honest in your approach. I worked harder at maintaining good blood sugars especially when coming to see you. Since moving to Mississauga. I trully miss being in touch and have realized you knew me more than anyone else will ever.You are knowlegable about Diabetis and thank you for the time and commitment you have shown in this area.I miss you dearly.J.O

I've been with Dr. Kenshole for about 5 or 6 years now. I've always found her considerate, informative and very positive. She encourages the development of independent self treatment as part of my diabetes regime. She has always attempted to answer questions I have about treatment and disease no matter how simple or complex. I could not ask for a better doctor.

I saw Dr Kenshole to discuss an ongoing challenge/concern I was having and she could not have been more generous with her time, more thorough or a better listener. She is direct and to the point with a dry sense of humour which I really enjoyed but I think based on other comments can sometimes be misread. Definitely recommend seeing her.

Dr. Kenshole has been my Endocronologist for 15 years; aiding me through two pregnancies. She couldn't have been a more enjoyable, helpful and satisfying person to work with. Of all the Diabetic specialits I've had through my 30 years of type 1 Diabetes, I've found her to be the best so far. She understands the hardships & challenges and doesn't waste time in cherry coating her questions and recommendations. As long as you are serious about your health, and illustrate a desire to work at a solution, Dr. Kenshole is one of the best Endocronologists in her field. Her history and background made her a pleasure to consult with on the challenges during 2 pregnancies and her "no-nonsense" approach left my husband and I extremely comfortable before, during and after the pregnancies. Dr. Kenshole is the best I've worked with thus far and look forward to many more years of good health with her by my side.
