Dr. Kalk has given me knee injections for over 3 years and he is a Master. Many of my friends have received these shots from their doctors as well as Illinois Bone & Joint stating that they were very painful and did not work. I have never felt one bit of pain with doctor Kalk and he is such a Master he knows how to get the gel fluid exactly in the right place and then it works!! I I always found doctor Kalk to be very kind, caring, and up-to-date on leading edge surgeries, procedures and medicine. I would not go to anybody else for knees shots except Dr. Kalk.

When I told Dr Kalk that I was using Ambien for help with sleeping but without medical insurance, that it was very expensive, he recommended another prescription that was not only as good as Ambien but cost pennies a day. He always took the time to listen and explained his findings thoroughly and in a way that I could understand. He's a diamond in the rough.

After "voluntarily" relinquishing his medical license in Missouri, he moved to Texas, where he was unsuccessful in obtaining a license. He has now moved to Buffalo Grove, Illinois, which is a suburb of Chicago. Kalk still has an Illinois license, and may try to set up a medical practice there. His license expires in July 2011; the state may decline to renew it. Kalk is no longer board certified.

Excellent in personal care as a physcian. Took alot of time to find the root of my illness. More than willing to help financially as well. Great at referrals for areas he did not cover. Personal problems, yes he has, but who doesn't or hasn't in their past or present? Was always accessable via phone or email. I liked his down to earth person touch vs. other unavailable doctors emotionally and physically. His staff was always polite and helpful. Thank you Dr Kalk for all that you do. FM

Apparently Dr. Kalk has abandoned his practice and patients. Good Luck getting your medical records or trying to find another doctor without a referral. He is no where to be found.

He is one of the best doc i have seen in the UnitedStates he is the only one who spends some time with patients he is not a money minter unlike others that is the reason why he may not be liked by all the people in his profession but he is very kind and very knowledgable doctor his treatment is the best, we and many of our friends are looking forward to see him and refer him for many other patients like us..

I completely agree with the comment left by Betty on 3/5/09. He could be a great doctor, but he has serious psychological issues. For example, he put out a "rules" book for his patients that ranted about his ex-wife and included her lawyer's contact info, which he encouraged us to use to complain to about how "unjustly" he was being treated. I stopped seeing him a year ago because of all this, and have never been happier!

He's a mystery. Sometimes great, often not. Can be caring or angry. Walked out on me once. But later called me at home. Has many problems: psych, personal, legal. See legal cases at https://www.courts.mo.gov/casenet. Has potential to be GREAT doc. Will be great when he gets some help. I cannot wait for that. Office 522 Ballas closed; says he'll work at a hospital. Talks about loving his daughters, but MO web site says he owes 100,000 child support. He's not on staff at any hospital. WHY? Other docs say nothing good about him. MO web site says he might be going to jail. MO revoked narcotic drug license, he says he "forgot" to renew it. Has it back now. I love the fact that he allows emails and answers them; wish more docs would do that. He wrote crazy "rules" about how to work with him; very strange. He is knowledgeable about medicine and patients, but not about himself. This interferes with delivering the excellent & consistent care he can do. Needs psychoanalysis & good lawyer. Betty.

I love Dr. Kalk!!! My entire family has seen him for years. He is always quick to help no matter your circumstance. I was away at school and he still took the time to answer my email and help me even at a long distance. He is very open with his concerns and will do anything to help his patients suceed in living a healthy life style. He will give you his email and encourage you to discuss any issue you have with him. He is determined to find the root of your problem and truly make you feel a lot better. I have waited a little longer than my appointment but he makes up for that in his service. Don't leave out any detail on how you are feeling
