I have been seeing Dr Tadros for 19 years and he has helped me through some of the most difficult times in my life. He admitted me to a cognitive behavioral program at Sharp hospital that he oversaw and uses TMS and other cutting edge treatments for depression in addition to medication therapy. He is a caring, compassionate psychiatrist who can be easily reached on his cell for patients needing immediate treatment. He takes the time to try to understand a patient’s root problems and does a thorough job addressing them.

Dangerous, unfamiliar with current practice guidelines on treating elderly patients. He also lacks an empathy gene- treated my family member with an alarming level of distain and disrespect. Not only is he a bad doctor, he's a nasty little man. I hope he ends up a patient one day so he can experience the fear and frustration of being entirely dependent on someone like him.

Dr Tadros and Emily are great, but unfortunately the secretary treated me in a very rude and unprofessional way. After being a loyal patient for almost a year who always arrives on time to the appointments, I mistakenly missed an appointment which I scheduled with the secretary on the phone. She said June 25th, and I thought I heard June 26th and even took the day off from work especially for that. She insisted on charging me a $75 no show fee, which I understand, and paid of course. But her attitude was completely disrespectful. She threw it on me as if she was some debt collecting clerk and not a secretary in a psychiatrist office in which some compassion is necessary for her position. When I tried to explain the reason for my no show, she lashed out and said that I should've known that the office is closed on Wednesdays, all patients know that, and if I would've called I would've heard it on the office's voicemail. With eyes full of tears, I told her I was very disappointed of her attitude. Her response was that she's been working at the social services field for years, and that she didn't charge me a dime for my last 3 appointments. (Which is false) I walked in to Emily's room with eyes full of tears, not able to talk. Therefore, I will no longer use Dr. Tadros's services.

To whom it may concern:
I was referred by my psychologist to seek treatment from a psychiatrist by the name of Emad Tadros, M.D, office located on 4060 Fourth Avenue San Diego, CA. On July 9th @ 3:00 p.m I visited Dr. Tadros and during my visit
I felt disrespected. I went in due to severe depression and suicidal thoughts. I am multiply diagnosed with anxiety, panic attacks, P.T.S.D,
clinical depression. When I went to see the doctor, he asked me what medications I was talking. I gave him a printed list of my current medications because because I have bad memory due to my depression.
I placed the paper on his desk, he grabbed it and shoved it back at me, he said "you think my patients don't know what they are taking." I cannot be your doctor if you don't know what you are taking." I then said "ok, ok. next time I will remember" I didn't want to lose a doctor. I felt that I wasn't helped and my suicidal thoughts increased, after I left his
office I had a strong urge to jump off the overpass. I left there worse than I came in as. I felt overwhelmed, more depressed, disrespected and my panic attacks increased. During my visit, the doctor continued to raise his voice at me. I am complaining due to his unethical conduct, anger issues, unprofessional conduct and verbal abuse. I suffered at the hands of this Dr. I thought I could trust him with my problems. I am writing this letter complaining in the hopes that Dr. Tadros is reprimanded for his actions so he is not allowed to this to another patient that is suicidal like I was.
Please tend to this matter before another patient ends up dead due to his verbal abuse.
Respectfully,
Silvia Baltodano

Not a good doctor In my eyes since he just throws whatever never meds are being pushed and he is paid to give out to his patients then runs out and the cost of the med is 275 a month so he calls pharmacy and switches me but never calls me to tell me what he did and I ended up in the ER because of him so stay away from this doctor and trust me there are plenty of way better pdoc in san diego

Dr Tadros is by far the most condescending, disrespectful, ignorant, physician I have ever met. He was TERRIBLE. He never sat down, he kept his arms crossed the whole time. He cut me off. He immediately jumped to transmagnetic therapy and called me resisting care when I denied. He threatened to have my locked in a psych unit after I told him how I was feeling. Saying he could, "keep me there as long as he likes". Its disgusting to me that this man is allowed to practice medicine. He is the antithesis of a quality psychiatrist and he has made me doubt being fully honest in my pschiatry visits.

Mediocre experience. Not patient in answering questions. Wasn't forthright about drug side effects - was told later that he doesn't divulge know side effects as it may deter some patients form taking their medication...? (so - if you get side effects like most and you don't expect them - what would many people do - yes, stop taking them). Doesn't touch on spiritual, diet, exercise, nutritional aspects of a healing plan - drugs only. May work for some but not for me.

Dr. Tadros is an excellent Physician. He will take the time managing medications, but one glitch is that he does not have the time for "lengthy" therapy sessions. He is straight forward, practical, respectful and means well for his patients.
