Dr has many yrs behind his experience some are on the poor side

Been a patient for15 years. Always had curmugenous old women working front desk. I usually see nurse practioner Stacey. Now that it's mt Sinai hospital system they use it as an excuse to get away with being rude and dismissive . They have young girls in the back making apts , taking messages who don't know what they're doing. The shrews at the front desk are driving patients away. I was told they don't get payed enough to listen to my complaints. Dr mantia is a good dr and Stacey is great but I don't know how much more we can take of "my sinais personel"

Dr. Gus is not horrible, but often is very rushed in examining and diagnosing problems. Staff make mistakes entering data into the medical file which is very distubing and at times lacking in proper office etiquette.

He is a great doctor. Sends you for testing to rule out problems snd does shoot craps with your health or experimant to see what works before he refers you out. Amazingly he knows everyone one of his patients and is a kind compassionate Christian man.

I love Dr. Gus Mantia. He has been my doctor for over 20 years. My parents also see him and love him. He is the only doctor I've ever met that actually cares about his patience and is not just about getting paid. He is also very thuro.

Doesn't spend much time with you, likes to send you at for tests that are not needed or irrelevant to your reason for visit. If you don't mind being rushed okay he's for you, but I would prefer to have a doctor sit and discuss things and take it one step at a time. Very nice personality, but I felt that I was being sent for tests that were not needed at all. I did not go for the tests and went to another doctor who knew what the problem was and gave me a prescription and said try it for a month and come back, if you are not having any favorable results we will take it a step further. That's what I was looking for. The RX worked and I feel better.

very good doctor. staff is a little unreliable as far as calling back.

Dr. Gus has been my doctor for the past 15 years. He and his staff are very professional and thorough. You will not be talked-down to like other doctors do. All your questions will be answered, and if he doesn't have the answer they get it in short order. You will not be disappointed.
