Beware patients this Surgeon has Dr Smithy Has changed my life for ever and I have life complications because of his ability to do what was needed something so simple like an external skin tag on my outside butt to be removed went inside and surgically cut me open internally for no reason possible to bill the insurance company for more money to pay himself more or he lost his mind, He changed my life forever !!!where now I been to 3 other surgeons which all say I have life problems because of this man who calls him self a doctor of Colon rectal, I know have a fistula and need more surgery from his doing`s , I have life fetal incontinence now because of his inability to do what the issue was which was an external skin tag . Please he is a very dangerous man and i do not want others to go threw what I've been experiencing for years and still under doctors
care. Find another doctor or chance being badly hurt like myself

I had surgery to separate my colon from my bladder. Wonderful surgeon and would recommend to anyone. I had no pain at all. Everything was thought about before the surgery.

Dr. Smithy operated on my mom who had stage 3 colon cancer. He was professional in answering all our questions and put our family at ease during this difficult time. He also scheduled her for surgery right away as time was of the essence. During recovery, mom was put in the burn unit to avoid infection. Dr. Smithy went above and beyond to treat our mother and we are so thankful that we picked him as her surgeon. He is a wonderful, compassionate, caring doctor who would be highly recommended by our family. Thank you Dr. Smithy.

I was first impressed when he spent a full hour with me, during my first interview. He saw me every day of my hospital stay. He answered every question. Being nervous having the surgery, he put my mind at ease. The surgery went well and recovery went as he described. I would have him operate on any friend or family member.

Dr. Smithy performed difficult surgury on me, which other doctors told me,"tumor not operable" and I had a few days to live. Dr. Smithy removed malignante tumor with no difficulty. and that was over a year ago. He's our hero. Professionalism, proficiency, medical knowledge, and compassion makes Dr. Smithy the best in his field.

Non emergent surgery done without my approval or consent seven days following a critical surgical procedure in hospital. No follow up following release. Necessary to have corrective surgery for complications six months later by another surgeon at another hospital. Have suffered feelings of depression due to permanent loss of some phyical ability and deformity.
