I am a 100% combat disabled vet, I have been seeing Dr Sternberg for over 5 years, after leaving several other practices. He listens, he knows about your condition and asks genuinely how your doing, if your looking for someone to throw pills at you, he's not the guy. If your looking to be able to live and function while managing pain this is your doctor, he's on time, he has genuine concern for you the patient and he's always available to help, after leaving other doctors who just want to drug you up, it refreshing to find someone to help manage pain, my pain will never be "gone" it's part of who I am now, but I control it now, the pain does not control me....and his staff is wonderful!

Sadly, twice in 1 year, doc's office staff has left me high and dry without my medicine. It's sad, even pathetic that I have a pain medication addiction, thanks to a severe back injury 11 years ago. I had an appt. today, doc office called and rescheduled, three weeks later!!! I advised the woman (Bethany)that I still needed my meds the next day> PM docs can only give the exact amount of pills for one month. I don't know what I am going to do without the meds tonight. I am scared already, just crying.......thanks to Bthany and Gloria the office manager. How cold and uncaring she is-her tone is one of boredom. Does anyone care about their job anymore? What ever happened to pride? Pro-active? This is the second time I have had this type of problem. I am an addict, due to injury, not social addict. What to do???

Dr. Sternberg's office staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Appointment is always fairly on time, maybe 5 minutes late sometimes. Dr. S is knowledgeable, works well with patients and works with them when they're in pain and isn't afraid to prescribe opiates when necessary. Sometimes a bit too shy.
