We went to the ER and my sister had strep throat (she has a history of those) and we wanted the dr to prescribe antibiotics for the infection she had. He proceeded to mansplain to my sister that she did not have strep throat and she only had a sore throat. Mind you he never once fully examined the patient and he went in there with his mind made up that we were delusional. All he gave her was Tylenol for the pain. My sister wakes up the next morning worse than before with her tonsils all swollen with puss. If he had actually examined her he would’ve seen the nasty infection that she was dealing with. Instead he said antibiotics were not medically necessary. He proceeded to tell us a story about how in the 60s and 70s doctors thought that the use of antibiotics was over used and it’s not necessary to use that medication anymore. He’s a terrible and arrogant doctor who doesn’t listen to his patients concerns. Glad we found a better doctor the next day who actually helped her. I don’t know if he was racist or sexist but he was so arrogant and so unprofessional. I’ve never had such a terrible experience with a doctor before. I will be sure to steer clear of him.

This Dr.'s last name matches his caring tending to patients. There aren't many doctors left like him. His openness made me feel comfortable explaining my visit reason to ER. I never felt rushed like I have been with regular doctor visits or previous ER visits. He quickly provided relief for my condition. He's an ER doctor and I didn't expect to be heard much the less listened to. Dr. Gentile did both, he heard and listened to me.

This Doctor is arrogant and should not be allowed to practice medicine. My brother who had chronic astma went to the emergency room with difficulty breathing and a bronchial infection. Dr. Gentile did not follow any of the stanadard procedures to properly diagnose my brothers severe condition. He was only arrogant and insinuated that it was more phychological. He then proceeded to treat him with IV sedation. My brother died 11hrs later in the emergency room.
