Not very kind! When you have questions, he doesn't like it and keep coming back for follow ups because he doesn't cure you, he then told me maybe I should go see a specialist some where else to get cured! I thought he was a specialist!?? Very rude!

I had seen Dr. Rothschild a number of times over a 17 year period, but not in the last 11 years for a number of reasons. He was exceptionally kind on my first visit, years ago, when I was nervous after driving an hour to get there to see a new doctor for the first time. I was sent by a friend who was a patient. Sometimes he can seem a bit rushed due to the pressures of the job or other patients, but he still makes time for a consult after the exam. I hate stand up and extremely rushed appointments. Recently, I returned, not knowing if he would remember me. He did and was still the same basic person, concerned and mannerly, like someone who was raised exceptionally well. I always look not just for a good doctor, but someone who is also a good person as well. I would go to him for primary care if I could.

Dr. Rothschild is the kindest man that I know. He is a man of God and will pray with you at any moment if you feel led to. His love for his family shines through his work. He made my life worth living again.

Dr. Rothschild delivered my daughter and I have had him as my OB/GYN for over 15 years. He is wonderful, attentive, professional, and always made me feel at ease, even said how much he enjoyed delivering my child, and that she was "perfect!" In addition, he perfomed a tubal ligation on me, and made a process I was a bit nervous about go very smoothly and I was completely at ease and trusted him entirely. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Rothchild has EXCELLENT bedside manners in addition to the medical knowledge. He advised the most appropriate steps & procedures for my conditions, and all of them proved to be very effective. I would recommend Dr. Rothchild to anyone who's looking for an OB/GYN.

I just can't get over the negative comments that I have read on this website. Dr. Rothchild has been nothing but gentle, kind and helpful. I trust him completely. I have never had anything to complain about in the last 26 years that I have gone to this office.

I had my first visit with Dr. Rothschild and it was great. Not only was his staff wonderful, but he was too. I met with him in his office before my exam and afterwards he listened to and answered all of my questions. I felt very comfortable with him and had a wonderful experience. BTW...I chose this doctor because my aunt couldn't stop talking about the great service she got and how well he addressed all of her concerns. No small effort as my aunt is a very chatty and does TONS of research before visiting any doctor.

Unfortunately, he is not thorough and is dismissive to patients with questions. The staff is horrible.

Biography

My approach to gynecologic care is to first listen, evaluate physical findings and diagnostic testing, then educate about various options available trying to customize care to each specific patient’s problems and circumstances. Over my 30 years in practice, I have witnessed a tremendous revolution in women’s healthcare. After graduating from George Washington University Medical Center in 1985, when my training required expertise in the whole spectrum of gynecologic surgeries, including abdominal surgery, vaginal surgery, laparoscopic surgery, infertility, oncology and urogynecologic procedures, much of OB/GYN has become sub-specialized. During the many years of my career, I have gained experience rivaling younger physicians unfamiliar with earlier surgical techniques. Despite my breadth of surgical experience, what I treasure most are the relationships born out of delivering over 4,000 babies and the triumphs and tribulations of intimate personal relationships shared with each of my patients. In an age where doctors move from one practice to another, I count myself blessed with stability in one practice throughout my career. I was able to share in the development of many families, perform life-improving surgeries and guide many women through the most difficult times in their lives.
