DR Warner is in it for the money and is taking full advantage of the phone appointments, HE will rush you and won't answer questions properly to try and quickly dismiss you.

Dr. Warner has been looking after me since I was first diagnosed with Bladder Cancer in 2010. In short, I'm alive today because of him. I'm also healthy, happy, and have a long life ahead of me to enjoy. Remember, he is a surgeon, not a General Practitioner. He's direct, doesn't mince words, and absolutely knows his stuff. I trust him and would recommend him to anyone .

Warner did surgery on my prostate. I almost bled to death. Then I saw another urologist at Vancouver Hospital who said the surgery should have never been done. This second urologist said at Vancouver Hospital they see a lot of people Warner has operated and with major complications. This urologist said Warner puts his income before patient care and the health and wellbeing of the sick. Awful to hear that from someone who would know Warner a lot more than I ever would or could. So my advice, don't get your surgery by Warner, ask to go see urologist in Vancouver. It is your health. I have lost it now. One of my complications from Warners surgery is I lose my urine in my pants all the time - 58 year old who has to wear diapers again.

Money money money that's all that Warner is about - blue book shows him making 3 million dollars a year. He has no care, no knowledge, no compassion, no skills. He is there to bill the Medical Association for procedures he should have not done or never did do or did a horrible job in doing it. He operated on me with horrible results. Saw two other urologists after, and both said the procedure was not indicated and was not even done properly. This doctor has no ethics and no morals. Just wants you sign on the dotted line to book you in for an unnecessary surgery. Stay away from him at all costs.

Stay away from Dr. Warner. He is both morally and ethically corrupt. A year ago, I came in to see him as my PSA level was slightly elevated. He did a digital exam and felt no lump. He then sent me for a prostate biopsy that should no cancer and no lump. It was clean. I had another PSA test done 6 months later and it was fine. No problem. 6 months later he sent me for another PSA test and it was a little higher, but not much. He then suggested I do another prostate biopsy, even though my PSA was lower than when I first came in to see him. There was nothing to warrant me having a second biopsy. He also tried to get me to get a private MRI, just so that he can get a kick back from these people. He is just trying to milk the medical system and to use his patients as a slot machine to make more money off them. Totally corrupt, both ethically and morally.

Dr Warner was a fantastic doctor. Dealt with all my issues knowledgeably and did his due diligence by performing an exploratory cystoscopy, which ended up being not nearly as bad as I had thought it would be - the hardest part about it was the anxiety! Dr. Warner even made a joke after the procedure which immediately lightened the mood. I felt comfortable and that my issues were addressed (stress-induced bladder issues and stress-induced erectile dysfunction). I started counselling following my traumatic accident, as he recommended, and my issues resolved, just as he said they would.

Dr. John A Warner is a fantastic doctor. At this difficult time in my life, he made feel at ease. I can't thank him enough for his knowledge, professionalism and bed-side manners. I highly recommend him.
