Dr. Grant was awesome. My daughter had struggled with vision issues from birth. They got us in very quickly and her up beat personality was loved by my daughter. She saw clearly for the first time today. It brought tears to my eyes. She did multiple tests and made it fun. She told us the facts and a plan of treatment that didn't include surgery. I am forever grateful to her. I would recommend her to anyone with children. We left her office with hope that my daughters vision will be improved. Her receptionist was very nice as well. Oh, and the pupil dilation was for the first time painless for my daughter. Her m & m trick was brilliant. Thank you for a wonderful appointment. We will dedefinitely be back.

My son, who has high-functioning autism, was seen byDr. Grant. During the exam she refused to allow me to offer any background medical info. We have spend in excess of 6 figures obtaining treatment at some of the best institutions in the country. She informed me I was not doing enough to help my son, stating, that "I needed to take him to someone who was not just pretending to be a child psychiatrist." The physician who treats our son is ivy league educated, highly recognized and Board Certified in Child, Adolescent and Adult psychiatry. Dr. Grant recommended a local doctor who has very poor ratings and does not appear to be Board Certified, assuring me that it would be better to go to this individual. As a special education teacher and mother I have never seen a more unprofessional individual.

Dr. Grant makes going to the eye doctor a very positive experience for your kids. She is very detailed and makes sure your kid gets the best possible results. My oldest daughter had undiagnosed "lazy eye" which, when I took her to another doctor who used patching, barely improved. After just a couple new eyeglass prescriptions (refilled for free at Wal Mart), the eyesight in her "bad" eye is now approaching 20/40 and we haven't even started vision therapy yet. It was at 20/80 with glasses before I switched my daughter to Dr. Grant and was told they couldn't do anything else to improve her vision.

Dr. Grant's office is a solid 40 minute drive from our home. She does not take insurance (but our insurance does reimburse us after the fact). Despite these inconveniences, I can say without hesitation that every year the hour we spend in her office is one of the best we have all year. She is not just an eye doctor. She sees your entire child. Amazing physician. Amazing woman.

She was nice at the first appointments, and my son really liked her. Things changed when we had some financial problems and couldn't buy the name brands she said we needed. She was unsympathetic to our situation and made me feel as if I didn't care about my son.

Vision therepy was a huge success for my daughter. Her grades are up. She has confidence in herself and has continued to improve on her own since completing her therepy.
