Would not renew a prescription for a life long condition. Would not review test results and was angry with me for not knowing the results myself. Always in a rush and not able to answer questions. I have stopped going to this doctor.

Been seeing this doc for over a year and like all other patients feel I'm just being shuffled through like cattle so he can collect his paycheque for the day with little to no involvement with his patients. Scattered is a good word to describe him. Also his receptionist (who is his wife) is a little crazy. I spend a LOT of time waiting in the waiting room and she's always on the phone gossiping with friends and gets very annoyed when a patient approaches and expects attention. Very dismal office and I'm going to get a referall to somewhere else!

This physician did not apppear to be interested or very helpful. I had the impression that he was wasting his time and mine. Uncertain as to why I had this experience, - it may have been a bad day.

I joined the metabolic syndrome program but have no idea what I was supposed to get out of it, just the same very quick routine every time I'm there, no real answers or info to my questions, some confusion as to the fee charged for the program, as a result was not able to be reimbursed by my insurance company.

You feel like a piece of processed re-treaded hamburger at a fast food joint. Cook em', Fry em' and Serve em' - fast isn't the word for the length of your appointment - you don't even have a chance to get a word in and he's up and shooing you out the door. But you've been waiting 30+ in the waiting room before this point! Before he moved to a clinich I was waiting 2 hours for my appointment. Unacceptable! My (blood-sugar) levels are still high but we haven't changed the medication in 2 years! I should change doctors, but I just keep procrastinating about it because I only see him twice a year.

I have been a type 1 diabetic for over 30 years and I am 54 right now. I was seeing a doctor at the civic all this time but he was doing nothing for me. It was my family doctor that recommened me to see Dr. Telner. I find him very knowledgeable and he has helped me tremendously with controlling my diabetes. I feel I am very lucky to have him looking after me. My only complaint is you have to wait for hours after your appointment time to see him. I also had an eye specialist I used to have to wait hours to see but after an operation on my eye I can see today and everything is good. The wait was worth it.

Used to always be on time, but just switched to a new location and its terrible: I have waited 1.5 hours for my SCHEDULED appt the last two times I have been there. All this, and you get a 5 minute consult, no tests, no real interaction, nothing. I find him very knowledgeable, but not helpful.
