I am a patient of Dr. Aronyk's. The Compassion, Knowledge and Pure Class that he demonstrates is beyond words. I am blessed to have him in my Life. His Team that works along side him are amazing. Gamma Knife was a whole new world for me, and from the very beginning, I, along with my 2 children were welcomed with open arms.

There are no words to describe Dr.Aronyk. We have met with many neurologists and finally chose him to treat our son’s AVM. This doctor is one of a kind in all aspects, knowledge, compassion, kindness. It changes your whole experience when you have somebody who exceeds all aspects of medicine. We will be forever grateful for him.

I was a patient of Dr. Aronyk for years, until I aged out of the paediatric system. But he was always so kind and gentle with us kids. If I went for a shunt revision surgery, he would always hold my hand and talk to me until the anesthesia kicked in. We all considered him as part of our family, and still do. Any child who is fortunate enough to be a patient of his is in excellent hands.

He has the best bedside manner. I remember when i had to have my last shunt revision and I was completely scared, i basically told him lol “The only way ill let you operate is if you’re in the recovery room sitting beside my stretcher”. And he sure was. He absolutely cares about his patients.

Dr. Aronyk saved my life. He spends the time with his patients to get to know them and explain exactly what is happening so you fully understand what needs to be done, how it will be done and the recovery after. He follows his patients successes and if it weren't for him I would probably be in a wheelchair and not have my three beautiful boys. He is the reason I have the quality of life I have today. I can't thank him enough.

An AMAZING doctor as one nurse told us This man was sent to us by God!!saved my sons life at age 3 from brainstem tumor. Matfey is still staying strong as he turned 22. I remember dr. Aronyks compassionate words and treats his patients as he would his own children. We were told if matfey makes it to age of 17 you are the luckiest parents. I just had Gamma Knife with Dr Aronyk and his team in Edmonton yesterday! Everyone was above and beyond amazing! For once, I didn't feel like an annoyance trying to get help with regrowth from my acoustic neuroma post op! Knowing he looked at all the MRI's, was concerned about my eye not responding properly from my original surgery (it's fine now!) almost 4 years ago.. it felt amazing to be treated like he would treat his own family! The entire team went above and beyond! I am so thankful for the referral to them after 3 years of trying!

Came from Toronto on request, he was the only doctor that could perform the surgery she(my daughter) required and he decided to stay. This doctor will never be replaced.

Dr Aronyk has been with my daughter since 1999, all of her life. He is an excellent Neurosurgeon. He is very knowledgable, kind and so helpful. We are very sad that he is retiring but we know that the time has come for him to move on. Thank you Dr Aronyk for being such a great doctor to my daughter and we wish you all the best!!
