Very honest and listened to me. He found an ulcer and for the first time in feeling better then I have in years. He gave me respect that I haven’t had from other naples doctors.

I met doctor Wiesen for the first time A couple weeks ago. I’ve been to two other gastroenterologist. I’ve never had such a warmth of humanity and understanding as a patient then I did in Dr. Wiesens office. For the first time I wasn’t scared of my doctor and gave him my trust. I hate procedures but I let him do it anyway and thank God I did because he found two giant polyps and my father died of colon cancer.

Dr. Weisen met with me and discussed my issues. He took the time to explain the procedure and set my mind at ease. He showed empathy while remaining professional.

It appears to me Dr.Wiesen has a preference to work with patients who need care at his Colonoscopy Clinic, everything else related in the vast gastro medical field seems to frustrate him. I do not think this is the medical professional you need when it comes to anything dealing with Celiac and the complications it presents. Dr. Wiesen lacks the respect needed to openly listen to a patient that is advocating and in search of managing care for chronic conditions. I respect that this he is a very smart medical professional, but without the ability to care for the full scope of what it takes for chronic conditions, I will seek care elsewhere.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wiesen's since 2002. I have a condition called CVS, and over the years have been to many doctors trying to find something to help. Dr. Wiesen has been on my side since the beginning and always trying to find new ways to help. I know for a fact that he has researched my condition on several occasions without me even having an appointment to see if there is anything new out there to help. Just recently we went back to an "old school" medication and so far, things have been looking up for me. I have had numerous procedures by him (colon and egd's) and every one of them went off without a hitch. The compassion he has shown over the years to me has been awesome. He is the one doctor that was always honest with me even if I didn't want to hear it. I have no reservations referring any one of my friends and or family to him and have done so in the many years I have been a patient.

Dr. Scott Wiesen has always been phenomenal! The customer service by him and his staff has always been top notch! He has always had great recommendations moving forward after my upper endoscopy and I have since then never had further issues. A+ across the board.

Dr Wiesen has been taking care of my wife for years. I can not effectively communicate my gratitude to this man. He treated my wife through a devastating battle with cancer with a level of thoroughness & professionalism that I KNOW saved her life. He always made time for her providing information and just a bit of humor that we so desperately needed during those terrifying months of continued surgeries and chemotherapy. I trust this highly trained professional with any member of my family.

Dr. Wiesen during routine endoscopy knocked out my two upper front teeth. He took no responsibility for this and i would advise anyone to find another physician. He is arrogant and rude. When i asked him questions in his office prior to the procedure his comment was "I am good at what i do"

The worst I’ve ever had in Naples. I now spell his name with a small w. He’s no doctor. He did an endoscopy March. Then he did a colonoscopy December. I had to stay in & near the bathroom.
After the procedures when I went back in dr w prescribed Prevalite to stir in water & a big Lialda pills. He said 3 in the morning but the script on the bottle said “three daily.”
I took that bottle to a trusted doctor. Handed it to him. When he finally spoke he said, “This is no prescription!” 3 when? Lack of direction.
Then my trusted doctor asked if a Celiac test had been done. I didn’t know. He said, “It’s easy. Just blood-work.” YES I HAVE CELIAC DISEASE. At every follow-up with dr w I’d tell him my dilemma about every 20 minute poop. He’d end up saying, “Stay on the meds. You’re doing fine.” OH REALLY??? Yes, as long as I don’t leave my house!
I’d still be pooping every 20 minutes if I had not gone to another doctor who I’ve known for years who was smart enough to know it might be Celiac Disease. I hope no one else has to suffer without diagnosis & treatment. I am so good now, just as I was before the couple years of trying to find answers We have to remain diligent; be our own advocate. KEEP searching when nothing seems right. My notes are extensive.
