Good luck if you have pain or you want to talk to him after surgery. He really doesn’t care. Once the surgery is over it’s like you didn’t even exist. I saw my family doctor for my post op assessment because I didn’t trust him to give a rats a** if there was a problem. I returned 3 times to the ER in uncontrolled post op pain because I had to leave the ward prior to my pain being controlled. He refused to treat my 10/10 pain. It was a nightmare. I wasn’t ready to be out of the hospital, but even though my GP wasn’t a surgeon, she at least cared about how much I was suffering, so I didn’t feel I had a choice. The week after my surgery was absolutely traumatizing, all because he refused to treat my pain after he sliced my guts open.
