Clayton Bridges takes the time to view your history and really connect the dots. He seems thoughtful and intentional about prescribing only what is needed/necessary, not just taking the obvious and easy route, and is an advocate of looking at things holistically. He is very reassuring and empowers you to put your health back under your control. I highly recommend Clayton Bridges AND his staff.

I've been seeing Dr. Bridges for several years now. He has guided me through several injuries, and illnesses. I never hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends and family. He is very skilled at diagnosing and curing or fixing whatever my ailment may be. He is compassionate and his personality is very reassuring and calming. Highly recommend!

Dr. Bridges is missed so much at the office in Ramsey. Out of the 3 physicians there, he showed the most compassion and care.. He was able to look deep into you as a human being not just another patient, it was personal with him. I will look to visit the office in Oakland, NJ. Sure he was funny and quirky but that's what made him real. I had a Doctor perscribe something for me after I broke my back and he said it was like "pissing on a beach", I was in so much pain and he knew it when I saw him after seeing my other Doctor, compassion, care, those are the things he showed in his care of me and my family for over 10 years. Highly recommend him!

I have been a patient of Clayton Bridges for approximately five years. I echo the positive comments below. Unlike so many physicians, he is emphatically not imperious. The reviewer who gave a negative review could not have been further off base and more than likely is as unpleasant as s/he presents. The help I received from Clayton Bridges regarding diet, exercise, etc... and how it applied to my particular condition was better than I have received from any other sources. I endorse Clayton Bridges unconditionally.

I have been a patient of PA Bridge's for about years now. In that time he has gone above and beyond what any of my previous doctors have done. He has a great sense of humor and actually talks to you as an equal. I don't know what the person below was talking about with the "GOD Complex" comment, but they couldn't be more wrong. He never rushes me, answers all my questions, explains things a million times until I understand. When I had surgery in 2012 he came to visit me in pre-op to wish me well, and then called my home a few weeks after just to see how I was doing. No one does that. When I went to him with strange symptoms last year, he knew exactly what to test for and got me an answer... Sjogren's Syndrome. As I researched more about this auto-immune disorder I kept seeing how these people suffered so long without getting a proper diagnosis... How lucky am I to have someone as knowledgeable as PA Bridges in charge of my care. Don't let the "PA" fool you. He is just as knowledgeable, if not more, than any other doctor I've seen. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have been a patient of Clayton's for about 10 years and moved with him when he left Bergen Family Practice and went to Oakland. I couldn't be happier with him. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, caring and sincere, has a great sense of humor and takes all the time in the world to discuss questions, diagnosis or procedures. Even takes the time to ask how my daughter and husband are doing. Don't let the title of PA fool you. He is very well educated and has performed and assisted in many, many surgeries ranging from brain to orthopedic and is a very well respected colleague of all Physicians and specialists not only in Northern NJ but Southern NJ as well. I live in Ramsey, and while the Oakland location is a bit farther for me it is worth the extra 15 minute drive. The staff in the Oakland office are attentive, expedient, very knowledgeable and extremely kind and when they say they will follow up or do something, they actually do it. I am not use to this type of service coming from Bergen Family Practice. Put it this way, the only reason I put up with the service there was because of Clayton. If it weren't for him, I would have left that office a long time ago. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, I just can't wrap my brain around the negative comments below. It just doesn't make any sense. I have recommended him to several people and they are all impressed with him.

@july23rd are you kidding me? That's either a false statement or you asked a ridiculous ? Bc Clayton bridges is one they most professional individuals I've ever met, he's beyond gifted he's caring he takes the time needed .. He was recommended to by a board member at valley hospital where Clayton doesn't even practice... I could go on and how he gives his free time to people w/o ins etc but the important thing is he's a asset to any medical facility ... Be thank you where able to see him

Clayton Bridges is an extremely intuitive and knowledgable. A phenomenal diagnostician and a very nice man. I moved with him from Ramsey to Oakland. He is kinder and more caring then all my previous pcp's. I highly recommend him to all my friends and patients.
