Horrible doctor didn't take preliminary tests ( blood pressure/ weight) for prenatal visit. Gives test results in a frightening way instead of comforting manner

Please go elsewhere- TERRIBLE PRACTICE!When I made an appointment the receptionist fought with me saying my simple swab test wouldn't be covered by insurance b.c I already had my annual- she was wrong BUT she kept fighting with me! When I went they had lost my appointment- but then told me to sit and wait and someone would be out. TWO HOURS later while conversing with another patient i found out that Dr. Giron wasn't there- I was literally waiting from 1:00pm until 3pm before ANOTHER PATIENT told me- they had re-scheduled me with another doctor and never mentioned it! Saw Dr. Hernendez- She WAS A GRADUATE FROM SCHOOL OF ECUADOR AND VERY YOUNG- she flat out told me I had herpes and wrote a prescription- I hadn't even been with anyone in six months and told her so! Blood test confirm I'm clean- this idiot wrote me a prescription and told me to take it with no proof!! Last straw- the office messed up filing the insurance claim and I had to make several calls to fix THEIR MISTAKE! RUN AWAY

Can't stress enough, don't even walk through the door! Was misdiagnosed early on in my pregnancy. Then developed a UTI. They refused to leave a message on my answering machine so ended up sending me a LETTER to call the office about my test results. TWO weeks went by during this process and then I find out I have a UTI that could have been treated and put my baby at risk. The staff (particularly the woman at the front desk) is beyond rude. I've witnessed her be confrontational with patients during the excessive wait time in the lobby. Seriously question what kind of "business" they are running. And Dr. Giron is far from welcoming. It's hard to have questions answered, and responses are limited, almost as if she's guessing each time. Do yourself a favor if you are adament about delivering at HUMC...find another doctor!!

I went to Dr. Giron-Jimenez for two reasons: 1) it was within walking distance from my house and 2) dr. is affiliated with HUMC, one of the two best places to have a baby. This was my 2nd pregnancy; I had a horrible hospital experience with my 1st pregnancy. The first 3 visits to see Dr. Giron-J. were timely and cordial. I waited a normal 15-20 minutes. The doctor was not much for conversation and I only had one question to ask, if an episiotomy could be avoided. Her answer told me this: episiotomy = $1000. My subsequent visits lasted over an hour - 1+ hour in the waiting room and 3-5 mins. inside with the doctor. I asked to be scheduled the first appointment of the day, didn't matter. I called before I left my house, a 25 minute walk to the office, so the staff could pull my file out ahead of time. Nothing mattered. The wait was always 1+ hour long. So I told one of the office ladies that I was going to bill them for the extra hour I pay my sitter. My wait time got better.

I went to Dr.Giron-Jimenez for the first time and never went back again. Staff is beyond rude, unprofessional and nasty. This so-called doctor DOESN'T care about people at all. The assistant or whatever she was was staring the whole time at my vagina while the doctor did the pap smear, which made me feel very uncomfortable. The doctor was in and out of the rude very quickly, didn't answer my questions, and when I asked to speak to her I was told I couldn't because she was with another victim already. I won't ever go there again. Very BAD doctor and employees.

RUN as fast as you can from the practice, especially Dr. GIRON! It's 8 months after the delivery of my son & I keep reliving the nightmare. I was a couple of days past my due date & she told me I had no choice, but to induce. It was my first pregnancy, so I was nervous & inexperienced. I agreed to be induced. It just went downhill. I started to feel really cold @ some point after the epidural & she told me I had to hv a c-section b/c my baby's heart rate was high. It was 153. I explained to her that his heart beat was on average @ 160 during my whole pregnancy. She got mad & said if I didn't get a c-section, I would have to sign paperwork exempting her from liability! I was so confused & scared, so I agreed :-( Then, I was a lab rat! She was teaching some other doctor on Me without my permission. They kept doing things over & over & it was painful. To top it off, she used a suction on my son. Suction on c-section? My baby had a big lump on his head & it's still not completely gone :-(

Although Dr. Giron seems a little cold in character she is a great doctor. She just needs a little time to warm up. This is my second baby she will be delivering and so far she's been great when I see her. I also love the staff, they are always nice and very helpful.

She was very thorough. She seemed very concerned about me. She was honest and knew what she was doing. When you look for a dr you should be considered about the quality of their work. I believe her to be an excellent dr. She staff was friendly. She was worth the wait.

Doctor barely speaks to you. Getting information from her is like pulling teeth. Felt very uncomfortable.... Horrible practice overall. I switched to a male Doctor in Hoboken and couldn't be happier.
