Dr. Fefelova is amazing! She has gone above and beyond for me many times. She really is the best at what she does! Very skilled and knowledgeable. Consider yourself lucky if you can get her as your gynecologist.

Absolutely one of the worst OBs I've met. I honestly wish Dr.Causey was still working because people like Fefelova should not be an OB. If you are delivering your baby at RVH and she comes in the room immediately get a different doctor. There is no compassion with her, there is only shut up and do with her and if you tare down there while delivering she will tell you that you don't have one at all and send you home when you actually have 2 tares and one is a split in the inner lip down there. I went into the hospital with enough time to have an epidural but she told the doctor that was suppose to administer it to go do a c section first (an hour long) and by the time the doctor came back I was already to dilated apparently to get the epidural. I delivered my baby girl in so much pain because I also had a small fibroid and a 10cm fibroid on my uterus that she overlooked. I was in so much pain, I was balling, my eyes were closed and I didn't realize how weak I was becoming to find out that I had a blood bag hooked up because I was loosing to much blood but wasn't told that at all. I told her the pain was to much and I almost completely passed out but was told women deliver naturally all the time and to basically suck it up. The night after being discharged I was taken back to the hospital by ambulance because of one fibroid bursting and I was hemorrhaging as well as had a massive infection that was apparently there during delivery that she also overlooked. Please, if she comes into the delivery room for you, ask for Dr. Wu instead!

Her first year at RVH she also had done a c-section on my fiancés ex for their daughter that left his ex with a 3inch gapping hole in her belly that caused her to develop sepsis, she almost cost my fiances ex her life and Fefelova never did fix the hole and she had it until the day she passed.

I saw Dr Fefelova for the first time in 2013. I was 12 at the time and struggling with severe bleeding and pain. I also was skipping periods for 6 months at a time.

She did an ultrasound which revealed nothing. So she claimed nothing was wrong with me.

The worst part about my experience with her is when she looked at my legs and pointed out the stretch marks I had. She claimed my issues were because I was overweight. I had gained weight at the time from medication from another health issue, but I was nowhere near obese. At 12 years old this made me feel like garbage.

If she was genuinely concerned about my weight, she could have confronted my mother outside of the room. Confronting someone like this while they’re suffering makes everything worse. To this say I’m still offended by this experience. It’s a nice way to make adolescent women feel terrible about themselves.

I found another gynaecologist and just had surgery. This whole time I had endometriosis that went untreated and my symptoms got worse.

I was recently referred to Dr fefelova from the ER for a second opinion. I just now realized they have referred me to her. I’ll be cancelling that referral ASAP, as I won’t subject myself to being in a room with this doctor again. I don’t really need another hit to my self esteem.

This doctor has been nothing but a headache, I would not recommend her to anyone. She makes you feel stupid and when you voice your concerns she is either frustrated or basically laughs in your face. The punctuality of the staff in the office is HORRENDOUS as well, I had a scheduled ultrasound and literally peed my pants because I had waited an extra 30 minutes while the ultrasound technician was on break, something that should not be happening on a patient's scheduled appointment time. The front desk staff is nice, sometimes there is one that is rude all the time and will not give you the time of day. Fefelova receptionists also take 3 weeks to respond to emails (this is also after making a physical trip to the office to ask what was taking so long). DO NOT GO TO FEFELOVA

Great experience!
She delivered 3 of my children and I always felt supported and safe with her around.
Waiting time is long to see her first time but it worth the wait!
I have 3 healthy children and thankful for her help to bring them to the World.
Her office always remained open even during COVID time when I can’t get any appointments with my GP and other doctors.
The team is amazing in this clinic!

I really did not like Dr Fefelova as my OB, I very much preferred seeing Dr Kilani and Dr Causey when she was out. Dr Fefelova is very dismissive, and gives next to no information unless you continually ask. She laughed at me for asking a really simple question and made me feel stupid. When she told me that I need to be induced, all she said was “ok, so come in at 8am on Thursday”… I had to ask “what will you be doing/what methods of induction do you use? How is it going to be different from a spontaneous labour? Can I still have the birth plan that I wanted? Can I still do X, Y, Z during my labour??”
Then when I came in for my induction, she started asking why I didn’t answer my phone last night, because the nurses tried calling to have me come in to triage for a cervix softening drug. At no point did anyone tell me that it was even an option to go in the night before for this, no one told me to expect a call from an unknown number— even though I had asked extensive questions about the induction process just 2 days earlier!
She does not seem to understand what informed consent is, or the concept of explaining things to patients. I will definitely be asking for a different OB for my next pregnancy.
