Dr. Huang in my opinion one of the best Doctor's out there, Also, dealing with Alice , His assistant, Is an incredible experience that you will never find these days in any industry!
Consider yourself lucky if you get to see Dr. Huang and have Alice helping you through the process.

I can NOT say enough about him. He changed my life for the better!
Suffering L5-S1 herniation. My life was completely changed. I couldn’t do anything due to the pain. I was referred to Dr. Huang November 28 and had the surgery December 22. I woke up in recovery to NO PAIN. No more need for pain killers or nerve medications. It changed my life.

Alice his assistant is THE BEST. She was with me through recovery and the month after when I did develop complications. She was there. Friday December 30 before a holiday long weekend. She was there. A Saturday night at 11pm? She answered immediately.

They got me the assistance I needed being from a town 2.5 hours from Edmonton. They got me in for a second needed surgery and followed up all the way.

Dr. Huang felt like an old friend that I’d known for years. He is compassionate. He is understanding. He is dedicated. We joked a lot and it was so very needed at times during my hospital stays. I am so very lucky to have been “stuck” with him. Or maybe he got stuck with me. Whichever. He is the nicest doctor you can meet. Being his patient is an honour.

DR.Huang has given my daughter special attention. Her spinal curve began at a scary 98° but the improvement is nothing short of miraculous. Thank you Dr.Huang for being so invested and giving my 6 year old the best life possible. Words can't express

My child could not have had a better experience in meeting with Dr. Wuang about a possible surgery on his back. Everything and everybody were very professional and also very open to discussing all aspects of our child's care with me. Both appointments went off exactly as planned, and on time. We were left feeling very confident about Dr. Wuang, his abilities and his staff that supports his surgery practice.

Dr.Huang performed a spinal fusion (TLIF) L2-L4 in 2015. In 2020, it was identified that to alleviate significant pain a spinal revision L2-L5 was needed. In August 2022 I had the revision done and the hardware replaced with slightly bigger screws (more screws) and longer rods. He did an amazing job on both surgeries and any complications are due to degenerative disc disease. Quite simply put, without the surgeries I wouldn’t be walking today. I can honestly say I am in my best condition since 2013 (when first noticed spinal issues). I feel very fortunate to have such a gifted and humble surgeon. Alice, is simply the best Administrative Care Coordinator I have ever experienced. Her attention to detail, kindness and professionalism are second to none. Dr.Huang and Alice are an exemplary team!

Both Dr Huang and Alice are wonderful. He performed a disectomy in Dec 2016, and most recently a fusion on my L5S1 in February of this year. If it wasn't for both their quick response to my latest MRI I would not be walking right now. After having chronic pain for years, and even after my disectomy, this fusion has changed my life for the better. He is attentive, caring, and so friendly. I could not ask for a better Ortho/spine surgeon. Alice is on top of everything. Organized, friendly, knows who you are before you can even tell her, helps you navigate where to go next to make the process seamless and easy. They are a wonderful team.

Both Dr. Huang and Alice are amazing. He has done two of my spine surgeries. When I first saw him I had been suffering pretty badly from a surgery and just being generally ignored in BC. He has been very attentive and quick to act when necessary.

Dr Huang performed an L5-S1 fusion surgery for me in Feb 2020. After 6 months of intensive recovery and physiotherapy I am completely 100% pain free. I can walk, hike, run and do yoga better than ever before. Alice and Dr Huang are incredibly caring and knowledgeable. I am so grateful for the outcome and definitely recommend staying on the waiting list for this surgeon if you get the chance.

I had back surgery back in 2019 performed by Dr Huang and have had appointments with him since around 2017. Dr Huang and Alice are the most amazing team in the world. He truly cares about his patients and I always look forward to my appointments with him. My surgery went flawlessly and now around 2 and a half years post op I feel amazing. I cannot thank him enough, he saved me from a life of pain and suffering and kept a smile on my face the whole time.
