Experienced, knowledgeable, very clean hygenic office

I found Dr. Kimos' office difficult to deal with. Although I received an initial free consultation for orthodontics/braces, when I was told to follow up a year from then and did so, I was refused to be reassessed and felt my initial time investment with this clinic had been wasted. Additionally, I was given no reason whatsoever and told "we're very busy the next few months so we suggest you go elsewhere" even though I did not mention any immediate rush. For whatever reason, they didn't want me as a patient, just because I asked some simple questions relating to pricing, including follow-up consultation fee and if it would be waived or not as well. Poor etiquette on the part of the clinic/staff/dentist which left me frustrated and looking for a new orthodontist in the city from square one.

This is the best Ortho clinic in Toronto. Dr. Kimos and the staff are very professional, patient, paused, and empathetic. Highly recommend them.

So far, generally good experience. Pro: fair price, treatment plans openly discussed at initial consult; if you bring up issues about treatment progress they will be addressed. Con: office tends to be busy hard to get someone on phone during peak periods. Overall good experience

Dr. Kimos and his team took on my orthodontic case which no one else in the country was able to solve, after many efforts on my part to find someone. Dr. Kimos' treatment enabled me to chew after 7 years of not being able to do so. He and his team are extraordinary. In honour of my treatment finishing, I am pasting herein an actual quote from an email I sent to Dr. Kimos' office:

"Please tell Dr. Kimos that he was right again about something. Last night my upper and lower left teeth magically and suddenly met evenly all along that side. There was no kerplunk sound or bang. I was lying down and they suddenly decided they loved each other and got married. Let's hope they never decide to get divorced. Once again he is The Magic Man."

His staff is not helpful at all. They do not care if you have the time or not, they do not accommodate time for you as customer. The service become really sloppy, as per previous comment. I have been with them for 3 years now, and the service is getting really awful.

I recently went to Dr. Kimos for a consult as part of my research process to start orthodontic work for the second time. After having two previous consultations, I can say Dr. Kimos´ first appointment process is so professional and seamless. The options are placed on the table clearly and in great detail. Good and also possible bad things are discussed about each option so there are no surprises later. I felt that I was treated with great honesty, professionalism and kindness. Dr. Kimos and his staff treat you with great respect and support when discussing treatment. I will be soon coming to back to start my treatment with him.

Dr. Kimos had 3 of my family members and after collecting his $20k fee his service became sloppy. What started out as a great experience ended up with patients who were very frustrated.
