He never told me he was going to leave a two inch scar across my hand and afterwards when I asked him about it, he said he didn't have a magic wand to fix it. He then tried to do the same procedure on my other hand. I told him I would have to think about it and then when he left the room his nurse told me to not get it done and to watch out for him as he was a sleeze ball. (her words) He will also still send you bills he forgot to send 4 years later.

In April 2014 I suffered a severe injury to my right thumb by a hydraulic wood splitter. The injury was the loss of all tissue behind the nail–basically the top of my thumb was gone. Dr. Gross had me in surgery the day after my first visit for a complex 3 hour Moberg Flap surgery. This very involved surgery is commonly used on amputees and is not done routinely by Dr. Gross. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ddw2G6LyHsE Dr. Gross not only did a successful surgery to “rebuild” my thumb, but also was able to repair my very damaged nail bed. I now have again a functioning thumb and a nail!!! Thank you Dr. Gross. All of those who followed me through this process and sees my “post op” thumb is astonished and calls it a miracle surgery, and so do I. Never did I realize how much I took my thumb for granted. And never did I realize the value of a very dedicated, professional surgeon in Dr. Michael Gross, his surgical team and his office staff. 2 Thumbs Up Dr. Gross!!! LaVonne Stedman
