I've been seeing Sonja for several years and her impact on my life has been extraordinary. She's intuitive and kind and incredibly good at her job.

I've met with several counselors before, but Sonja is simply the best in this area. I don't understand how she does it, but I leave every session feeling more at peace and content with myself. My friends and family all are stunned by how different I am from the wreck I used to be.

No words are available in the English language to express my gratitude to Dr. Hellman. My 10 year old son went into psychosis which ended up in a state of Conversion Disorder from a prescription medicine clash with his ADHD medicine. The Conversion Disorder left him unable to walk, talk or remember anyone and anything. He was wheelchair bound, unable to communicate and he did not recognize his mom, dad, dog or cat. After working with Dr. Hellman he has come back to us completely. He ran a 5k the same week he recovered from being unable to walk. He not only talks but he talks with confidence. We love her. She saved our son. She must truly have some magic pixie dust to heal all the people he cares for. God Bless Sonja Hellman!! You changed our lives!!

I find Dr. Hellman to be incredibly intuitive as a therapist. She is able to easily meet me where I am with my concerns. I have had counseling with another provider before that never led to progress. With Dr. Hellman, I am able to truly set aside issues and anxieties that have bothered me for years, and even decades. I feel like I am finally becoming my own happy, secure person at the age of 50.

Look no further. If you've run into other therapists who make you doubt the value of therapy, I urge you to consider working with Dr. Hellman. She's the real deal. Patient, understanding, funny and very skilled. She knows exactly how to get you where you need to be. I credit her with saving my marriage as well as my relationships with my two teenagers. Working with her, I've freed myself from the bonds of my past and begun the process of creating a life that I love. It's not always easy but it's always rewarding and most significantly, I feel I've gained skills and ways of looking at myself that I'll take with me throughout my life. I consider meeting with Dr. Hellman the best investment I make in myself.

Dr. Hellman has made a huge impact on my life, significantly reducing my social anxiety and panic symptoms. She is always very understanding and offers many practical tips. For some cases, like me, she integrates hypnotic methods into her therapy. She helped me to realize that I take everything way too seriously and realize the stress effects that was having upon me. I feel lucky she accepted me as a new patient.
