Dr. Amin does not care about his patients, only cares about money and has no knowledge about mental health. If your appointment is at 2pm. Don’t be surprised if you will be waiting until 330-4pm. I was recently hospitalized for mental health and scheduled an emergency appointment to see him which he cancelled half an hour before the appointment. Their records aren’t kept tidy and he is often asking me why their records are off. For example I apparently had no record of ever having a physical done. I’ve had many phycsicals done with him. My mental health has only become so much worse strictly because of dr. Amin. I will not be returning to him. Please do yourself a favour and find a doctor who cares about you and actually believes in mental illness. Whenever I talk to him about my mental health he smiles, laughs, makes jokes and doesn’t let me finish talking to him about what is going on because he just wants you out of there to get through the next patients so he can go home. If you like money loving doctors who don’t are about you and don’t believe in mental health, then dr Amin is your guy.

Patient of his for 3 years now very helpful and understanding to medical issues. Listens to all issues and addresses fully without trying to push pills. Great doctor patience with every visit never felt rushed.

Knowledgeable doctor with in depth understanding of pharmaceuticals and the surrounding medical industry. Good doctor to go if you want a quick prescription - if you are willing to endure a 20-45 minute wait time for a rushed consultation. Poor understanding of mental health and desire to listen to get a full understanding of a patients issues before writing a prescription or referral. Every meeting with Dr Amin felt rushed. Front desk also was not welcoming or helpful when you came in or needed a recommendation. For example, I was sent to the wrong lab for blood tests so I did not end up getting a result for one of the elements of the blood test.

Dr. Amin is only interested in the money. Forcing you to come back even when he makes an error an a prescription. He had his staff call me and tell me tobrushbto the hospital but the staff had no idea why. It ended up being an error on his part because he forgot that I had a coronic illness. I never recieved an apology for this added stress. I would not recommend him to anyone and will be writing a letter to the board about this practice. He took over the patients from Dr. Rubin and I wish I had left at that point instead of wasting the last few years and all the frustrations. I am now with an excellent doctor but Dr. Amin is holding my records from being transferred until I pay him. Only interested in money and doesn't care about his patients. Stay away!
