I have just returned to Dr. Winters as for a time period she wasn't on my insurance. I love her and she has always listened and treats me appropriately. She has a caring and kind sole. My family and my sisters family all goes to her.

Some people truly just shouldn’t be working in the medical profession with patients if they see people in an ultimately negative light to begin with, have NO bed side manner, and act so arrogant as if you are to feel blessed to even be in their presence-for which you’re paying. Rude, curt, extremely unprofessional, and believes the worst of everyone and thinks that everyone is a liar. Never have I had such a horrible, truly truly horrible experience with such an arrogant, hostile, “holier than thou” NURSE. I believe she may forget that part often. She is not a Doctor and is not competent to treat people for even the most basic of cases.

I am going to guess the negative reviews came from people who only met Ansley once. She is a sweetheart who wants to help. Give her a chance! I highly recommend her.

Ansley Winters will treat you as if you are a drug addict right from the jump. I first visited her because I had extreme back pains. On top of having a 4 month old son and starting a new job at a software company, I was very miserable. Basically she took all of my "misery" as if I were a liar, and said lets take a "minimalist approach." She prescribed me some useless muscle relaxant that had me scheduling another appointment the next day because it did nothing for my pain. That's already $90 in co-pay down the drain. Didn't I mention I'm a new father and barely starting a new career? Anyway, Winters was not in the office so I met with Dr. Doolie instead, Dr. Doolie was great, she was sympathetic and HUMAN. She actually BELIEVED what another human being was telling her when I said I was MISERABLE from my back pain. Dr. Doolie suspected I might have a kidney stone after examining me (which turned out to be true.) She prescribed me 20 pills of a narcotic pain-medicine which helped me out tremendously to get through the pain and gain some momentum at my new job. I eventually had to go to the ER when it was time to spell my kidney stone. In conclusion, the pain is gone now and I'm not under a bridge somewhere trying to score some smack like "Dr." Winters thought would happen. Despite taking 20 pills of narcotic pain-killers I'm still a software developing professional with a family to take care of. Hey "Dr." Winters, maybe people are nervous and will say stupid things sometimes because of doctors like you that automatically think everyone is a drug addict. Maybe, we are all adults and have taken some sort of drug in our life whether it was vicodin for a broken arm as a teenager. Maybe we know what we need as adults with careers and medical insurance. We don't need doctors treating us like babies and drug addicts. Get off your high horse and stop thinking the worst of everyone, then maybe one day you'll make a decent doctor or nurse or whatever you are.

Ms. Winters may have "book smarts" but she does not belong in a career with live people.
Her arrogance is obvious and offensive. How could I possibly know more about MY OWN body than she does?

When expressing my concerns, this nurse practitioner acted offended or displeased by my input. She was not helpful or supportive at all. She was about to do a procedure, and she wasn't going to put gloves on!
