My normal dr was out for knee surgery so they said Linda was the cheif dr of the gyno department at Virginia mason. I had scheduled a Fallopian tube removal and a Hysteroscopy with Linda almost 5 years ago. She said surgery went well. But next day I was having issues. Myself and my friend were back and forth on phone with her and her staff. So I couple days later went back to see her. I knew something was wrong. She tries blaming my issues on an allergic reaction to iodine which I am not allergic to. With what was wrong at that time she should have known that my bladder was retaining urine. But she gave me a shot In my rear of pain meds and sent me back home. Well a few more days go by. And I have to go to er. I went to Swedish cause it was closer to where I live. When I got there they drained 7 liters of urine from my bladder and I was in kidney failure. They also found an injury to my ureter tube . Which is super important this tube carries urine to bladder from kidney. So there was urine and blood leaking into my body cavity for a little over a week. They said if I didn’t get to er then I would have been dead in a couple of hours. It took her 3-4 months to call me back and check on me. But she only did that cause she had caught wind of my trying to find an attorney to sue her. I was supposed to be able to go to invetro dr 2 months after that surgery happened. It’s been almost 5 years. She ruined my life. My bladder no longer functions and I have major chronic pain issues now and lots of specialists who I see all the time now. I would not recommend this dr to anybody. I think it’s time for her to retire. She’s isn’t caring of her patients at all. She ruined everything for me. And I am still going through process of healing. I will never be back to normal at all. Please don’t see her she almost killed me.

Love Dr. Mihalov. She's so sweet. I'm sure that she has plenty of other people in rooms/waiting to be seen, but she always makes me feel like I'm her most important patient. She's never in a hurry to move on to the next person, and always has time for me and my questions :) I went in not knowing what I had after putting up with discomfort/pain for several months, and she diagnosed me as having a dermoid cyst, and advised me to get it removed right away. They were able to schedule me for surgery the following week, and it was so simple! She told me at my follow up appt. that my dermoid cyst was one of the biggest ones she'd ever seen! They said they removed almost 2 liters of fluid from it before removing it altogether. Yikes! My scar is healing nicely and looks great. Very clean job. If she were a general practitioner, I would go to her for all my doctor appointments! Thanks to her, I'm back to being a healthy 20-something. She saved my life. I could not have gone on living like that!

I came to Dr. Mihalov after a horrendous experience at the University of Washington's Hospitals and Clinics. I found her to be concerned,knowlegable, and professional. She took a lot of time with me and understood my need for reassurance and information. I highly, highly recommend her. I only wish I had gone to her first.

I have endometriosis I have been having pain since I was 14 I am 25 now I went to Dr Mihalov in 08. Dr Mihalov is the best Dr I have had for this I have been to sooo many to help me with this and all they told me is I cannot handle pain. When I went to Dr Mihalov she told me we need to do a Laparoscopy to see what is going on I was diagnosed with endo. People with this need to know that it can come back fast or take years it up to your body. My pan is doing better then what I had beforeThe only way for your doctor to know for certain that you have endometriosis is by looking inside.

I have had painful periods since I was 12. I took dr. m's suggestion and went in for a laproscopic pro. She said she removed ALL OF THE ENDO. By the way, they got me out of recovery so fast @ VM that I wasn't able to pee and had to go in for an emergency cath. I NEVER healed from surgery. In fact, i developed extreme pain 24/7. I had cramping and pain in my left ovary (the one she worked on) so bad I was bed ridden. She said that this was not her goal of surgery and didn't know what else to do. I ended up going to cali to a specialist. He said that my ovary was so BEAT UP he was shocked. He said, "she needs a little more education in order to be doing surgery." He said that the endo was stage 4 and that there is no way she could have removed it all. It couldn't have come back that fast, from the time of the surgery to the time I saw him. He helped me with 50% of the pain Dr. M CAUSED. I'm in my 20's and can't do anyting i used to. My life is very limited.I'm grieving my old active self

Virginia Mason along with Dr. Mihalov are very poor from a customer service standpoint. I chose to go for a second opinion and now have switched Dr.'s.

Dr. Mihalov is SOOOO WONDERFUL!!!!! She is sweet, caring, compassionate and she TRULY CARES about her patients!!! I TOTALLY RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE needing a WONDERFUL OB/GYN!!!!
