It was horrible! Poorly trained staff. Delayed responses to equipment alarms and general call light requests. Housekeepers were non existent through my 4-5 day stay. An experience I hope I never have again.

I was admitted to their behavioral health unit backin May. I'm going to cut straight to the point. Good food. Lackluster staff. Relaxing space sure, a completely safe one? No. It does not feel at all like an inpatient unit. I was on the nonacute side which is apparently a little less restricted, but giving me, ap patient with suicidal depression a safety pin? Don't even go there. The staff were not helpful, in fact were only so in giving medication, suggesting medication, leaving you alone, and managing groups that you don't have to go to. I felt like no one there actually cared, as i was completkey in the dark my first day there as no one gave me a tour, and no one had time to talk as they had groups and other things to do. No one had time for a patient stuggling with suicidal depression. Theu told me to go get my nurse i couldnt find her for 30 minutes. Then when we finally talked she just pushed meda. Considering what the intake manager said to me: "dont worry your in the safest place in the city" the safety pin was a nice little touch. A small pill was also found in the corner of my room, which was a real mystery to them aswell. Now, the decent parts. The space is fairly relaxing and therapeutic. TV and snacks/meals at certain set times of the day, and you can watch whatever you want. The food was the other part but I found it a little ironic that they had grommet food yet staff that just lacked in mental health services. I found it a little gimmicky. So it has its pluses, but based on my experience there, defiantly has cons, and possibly even outweigh the positives. Everyone may have different experiences with this place, but from judging from my stay there I do not recommend. I am taking my time to write this review because I think it's important for people to know the truth of my stay, so that you can can judge for yourself whether you want treatment at swedish or not. Thanks you for listening to my TED talk.

I had Covid-19 like symptoms about a year ago for 2 weeks that needed care at another medical center. Two weeks later my dad had the same symptoms that I had and was cared for at this facility. It was a complete joke for his care as he was undergoing cancer treatment at the time he got sick and the care given to treat him was so terrible that I would not recommend anybody get care here. He has various problems recovering where as for me I am almost back to normal. Today my mom had a procedure to be done and you guys messed her appointment up giving the wrong address and delaying an appointment I was to be at. Swedish is not where you want to get any sort of medical treatment of any type.

Prior to Providence buying Swedish, Swedish was a great hospital. However, to stay afloat, Swedish is now pushing behavioral health services, including ect. I heard ect is not as dangerous as it used to be, but I would be willing to bet it's more dangerous than any psychiatrist in Seattle is letting on. Pretty scary when people are getting referred en masse to what amounts to legalized electrocution.

Dr. Eastman is a joke. Condescending. Always late, often over an hour late even though he appears to be doing nothing. Sent me to a specialist for what he thought might be a tumor, specialist th0ught it was a joke. He’s a pill pusher and calls everyone crazy that disagrees with him.

They were in bankruptcy (per their key staff) which led to VERY POOR CARE of my Mother in September 2019. Providence supposedly bought them, all we heard was how understaffed they were, terrible experience.
