Biography

Dr. Granberg attended Kansas State University and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s in Food and Nutritional Science. She completed her medical training at the University of Kansas Medical School, where she was awarded the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation (awarded to female medical students in the top 10 percent of their graduating medical school class). She served as resident president during her family medicine residency at Goppert (Baptist Medical Center) in Kansas City in 2001 and upon completion of her residency entered private practice. She earned the degree of fellow through the American College of Family Physicians in 2010. Dr. Granberg enjoys the challenges that family medicine offers, including pediatric and adolescent health, preventive medicine, and management of chronic health conditions. Dr. Granberg encourages patients to take an active part in their health care. She enjoys the skin care and aesthetics part of her practice, including skin cancer screening and prevention After serving as the campus physician for William Jewell College for nearly 10 years, Dr. Granberg now acts as a volunteer medical liason/consultant for the college. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Metropolitan Medicine, Missouri State Medical Association and the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians. She is board certified in Family Medicine. She currently serves as District 1 representative for the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Granberg is an avid reader and enjoys photography and digital scrapbooking. She is an avid K-State fan and particularily enjoys K-State football. She plays tennis and is learning tae kwon do. She is married to Bryce and they have two children, Amber and Chase.
