We had been using Dr. Stevens since 2000. He repeatedly refilled one tooth, and totally missed a very severe sinus infection associated with that same tooth. Fortunately for us, he was out sick, in November 2016. We needed emergency visit, for major pain, in that same tooth. His temporary dentist saved us. He diagnosed the infection, thru a simple X-ray and we sought help elsewhere, which saved a life. Save yourself and go elsewhere!

We were patients for 10 years, every 6 months. Switched dentists because he never is available and we all have cavities that have fallen out and new ones. How he missed this much is behind me.

I've been going to Dr. Stevens for many years and highly recommended him to friends who also like him and his office a lot. Okay, he's not chatty but he will answer questions thoroughly and does beautiful work. I'd rather have a GREAT doctor that is not over-the-top friendly than one with a great bedside manner but does poor work. His staff is also wonderful. five stars!

Dr Rick is very knowledgeable. He always explains everything and is up to date on new and improved procedures. He has a way of numbing you so the injection doesn't hurt.

Will not go back! Unprofessional and very cool personality . The hygienist were great and friendly. It's very sad I like the staff but his blew it for me!

My wife and I have been to Dr. Stevens several times over the last three years. We will not go back. The major issue is his lack of proper chairside manner. We have both found him to be awkwardly quiet. He seems to offer almost no information unless you directly ask. At times he has audibly sighed at a question. My wife's last visit was the last straw. He groaned when she asked about nitrous, and said "we're already running behind" , when in fact the appointment began right on time. He then complained about how expensive it is to run the O2 and gas. Well, excuuuuse me! He then began the procedure without any explanation at all, and was visually annoyed when he had to stop due to pain. My wife said she was in tears at this point and he was completely unsympathetic. There are a lot of dentists in this town, we don't need this kind of treatment.

VERY honest Doctor. I had a very good experience with him as well as the dental hygienist, she was extremely friendly and great at answering all my questions. The problem I had, and the reason I will not return to him is because of the front staff. The front desk lady, not only never returned a phone call back I left, but she was also VERY rude. It was such a headache dealing with her that it is was no longer worth going, after having gone to them since I moved to the area over 3 years ago.

Dr. Stevens is always excellent, his staff if professional,helpful, and welcoming. The office is nice but not over-the-top. I've never had to pay more than what the insurance covered. I always feel I'm getting top-notch care.

I have been using this office for 3 yrs now. I could not find a better dentist in the area. The staff is helpful. Doctor is honest too.
