As a relatively new patient I am very disappointed with the carelessness and lack of compassion demonstrated by the administrative staff here. My husband and I chose Dr. Wilkop because she is a women that specializes in fearful patients. My husband deals with severe dental anxiety. I sat in the waiting room hearing a mans voice in the back. When I asked the lady at the desk if it was a different, male dentist back there working one husband, I was appalled that they did not warn us before hand. Apparently Dr. Wilkop is on medical leave. If we had known this we would have postponed my husbands appointment. I feel so bad that he is back there being worked on by an unfamiliar, male dentist. Not to mention, the staff here does not abide by HIPAA laws like try should...I know that they should not be discussing my husbands medical info with me over the phone, but that is just what they did with me yesterday morning. Sadly, I will be shopping around for another dentist, and I will be spreading the word about my bad experience here.
