I seen dr.pereira to get camera into my stomach. After that said appointment they scheduled a phone call for September 28th, almost 3 months down the road. I waited and found out through the physician that referred me to pereira that I’ve had H-Pylori. So I had it for almost 1.5 months and Pereira office didn’t call me to tell me I had it, didn’t leave me a message saying this is important, call us. I found that to be very unprofessional, and when I called to tell him that, he shrugged it off like it was nothing.

Dr Cruz Pereira is knowledgeable, empathetic and explains things thoroughly. His office assistant, Erin is so friendly and helpful too. I've dealt with other specialists before that have been condescending and arrogant, Dr. Cruz Pereira treats me with respect and kindness.

After years of suffering, I met him at the ER and he took me on as his patient. Only 6 months later and I have a diagnosis! He actually sent me to get various tests done right off the bat. He is insanely knowledgeable and explains everything to you in depth, including future treatment options to prepare you in case the first time does not work. His receptionist is also lovely - she always has her patients' best interest at heart and has gone the extra mile for me multiple times.

I have dealt with Dr. Cruz Pereira for a few years regarding a number of complex issues. He answers all my questions patiently, listens well and is very knowledgeable. His receptionist Erin is WONDERFUL. She is kind, warm, professional and very efficient. I always get a friendly and most helpful response from her whenever I call the office. Thanks, Erin! :-)

Dr. Cruz is decent and I like him way better than the idiot I saw before in another town. He listened and managed to find other issues that for 6 years no one else did. He got some tests I couldn't afford covered which was wonderful. I wouldn't say he is warm and fuzzy, more clinical but he is polite but expect straight to the point which I don't mind personally.
His receptionist though... I don't think she likes her job, or people, or any sort of warm bedside manner.

My first time meeting Dr. Cruz was for a colonoscopy. He is thorough, knowledgeable; gives you a lot of information and results after the procedure....Feel like we are on track to find out what is causing my medical problems.... Erin can be abrupt, but she does her job well.

He is a wonderful doctor but his receptionist Erin is beyond rude. I have been so mistreated by her I am switching to another doctor.
