I am fast approaching 60 and although my face reflected my advancing years my attitude and zest for life are not that of someone headed for senior citizen status. My initial consultation with Mr Ross was a revelation - it was very informative and presented me with options I had not previously considered or known about. All the information was confirmed in writing with the offer that I could contact Mr Ross with further questions and a second consultation if I decided to proceed. I was therefore well informed about the pros and cons of the procedures and what I might expect to be achieved. Mr Ross is very clear about what surgery can and cannot do. There is no smooth sales pitch or unrealistic promises (which in my experience are common in the cosmetic surgery industry) just clear, concise, expert advice.
In terms of the actual surgery , Mr Ross is an expert, who in my experience, is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcome for his patients and I believe that is what I received.
His practice at the Alexandra Hospital is staffed by caring, supportive and efficient people who are good at their jobs. Vicky, the practice manager, is an amazing combination of efficiency mixed with warmth and caring. She even took time out of her busy day to look visit me after my surgery – something I truly appreciated.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Ross.

I recently had a revision rhinoplasty with Gary Ross and I can not recommend Gary and his team enough. All the staff area helpful and caring, Gary was really prompt at getting back to me when I had any queries about the procedure and I knew I had found the right person to perform the revision. The surgery itself went well and the results are great.

Since having two children I was struggling with the appearance of my loose sagging tummy. After being impressed with his website http://www.garylross.com I booked an appointment for an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). Mr Ross was excellent. He ascertained my ideas and concerns, alleviated fears and debunked any myths I had. He explained everything clearly and was patient with all my questions.The surgery went ahead with no complications. The staff at The Alex were great. Mr Ross saw me before and after the procedure and I was able to go home the next day. Vicki (secretary) was great. At 6 weeks the results were unbelievable. At 6 months I cannot believe my pre-procedure pictures are actually mine. The transformation is beyond any expectations I had. It has given me back my confidence.Its one of the best decisions I have made.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr Ross to anyone for any procedure. As age and smoking had taken their toll on my face I decided to opt for a face/neck lift and eyelid surgery. Gary explained in detail the procedures and pros/cons. Surgery in the hands of a highly qualified and skilled surgeon certainly turns the clock back many years. After the surgery there was minimal bruising and no pain. Scars healed quickly and are now invisible. Excellent result. I was slightly apprehensive of the surgery but Gary soon put me at ease and I felt comfortable and safe in his hands. Grateful thanks to Gary and his surgical, nursing and administrative team for their professionalism, care and attention before, during and after surgery. I would highly recommend Gary as he is very approachable, extremely caring and a brilliant surgeon who I trust implicitly. He is excellent.

Mr Ross is one of the most honest straight forwarding Dr's I have met, he is a perfectionist. He took the time to explain all the options that were open to me & explain each one thoroughly. It took several meetings with in depth examinations & discussions before a date was set for the operation. Having gone through it twice before with major problems both physically & emotionally Mr Ross certainly put my mind at ease. Gary Ross performed a breast augmentation and lift for me in September 13. I couldn't have picked a better surgeon for this life enhancing operation. Having done my research and attending consultations with 4 surgeons from 4 different organisations Gary stood out head and shoulders above the rest. I immediately trusted him for his knowledge and professionalism as opposed to the sales talk of the others. Gary managed my expectations of working with god had given me and after the procedure I was blown away with the great results. My breasts look really natural which was important. Pre operation I was apprehensive but Gary took extra time with me and answered all my questions with compassion. All the staff at the Alex made my stay delightful - I didn't want to go home. Gary Ross removed a cancerous mole from my chin although previously I had been to appointments to discuss some cosmetic treatment and the diagnosis for the melanoma came like a bolt out of the blue. He successfully removed the cancer and I cannot thank him enough for his diligence and absolute expertise. Surgery is so daunting but when you know you are in the best hands, that at least removes one major worry. His staff, Kay and Vicki are just wonderful and really help you to relax prior to surgery; these three people are an absolute team and although I was unlucky enough to be diagnosed with a melanoma, I was so lucky that I found Gary Ross. I was referred to Mr Ross when a lump was found in the bottom of my neck.Mr Ross had to explain to me that my melanoma had spread, which came as a bolt out of the blue. I subsequently had an FNA and then an open biopsy, which confirmed melanoma. Mr Ross rang me immediately even though he was on holiday to explain the diagnosis and organised theatre for removal of the rest of my lymph nodes a radical neck dissection. This is a very invasive operation and not guaranteed to stop the spreading but it was worth having it done and you can only take your surgeon’s advice. This was all done as soon as could feasibly have been possible and the organisation and communication was second to none. I had 45 lymph node removed in total I cannot thank Gary Ross and the Christie enough, he has saved my life. 3 years later I continue attend for follow up. He helped me get through my cancer and he must see such sadness as well as happiness in his work, thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.

Excellent service. Knowledgeable. Friendly. Brilliant job on removing a cancerous mole off my shoulder. Staff are very polite. Followed up with courtesy calls to see how I was doing. Would definitely recommend. And when I can afford ill have Gary to do my breast implants and eye bags removed. Kay and Vicki were very helpful and reassuring.
