Dr Kope is one of the most compassionate, dedicated and knowledgeable experts in her field.
She draws from many years of experience and research from which she has direct knowledge and or current connections to.
She offered several adjunctive supports and tools at each visit in addition to thorough and reflective follow up appointments. I am forever grateful for the care and guidance she provided for our family and would recommend her without hesitation.

I saw her many years ago for some time. She was very reliable, on time and consistent but sadly not very warm or engaging. At that time she spoke very little in sessions and offered little concrete ideas or strategies to help with issues I was facing. I was young and had little personal support at the time. I didn't know what counselling was supposed to look like so despite my discomfort and limited sense of connection, I stayed longer than I now think I should have. I know that her style/approach was detrimental to me, personally. I would not work with her again. Having said that, she may have evolved her approach and style in the intervening years. Perhaps her own professional and personal growth influenced her work with clients over time. She has so few reviews that it's hard to know. But if debating working with her, I might suggest asking questions about her approach to the work and related beliefs and philosophies before committing to ensure you know what to expect in your therapeutic relationship.
