This is the worst Dr ever met so far. My son is 4 years old I was referred by a dental dr for cavity problem. She didn't even say hi and introduce herself. Not a single smile. I thought she is the dental assistant. After waiting for almost 2 hours after the waiting she just look at my son's teeth for 2 mins and told me he's got cavity. Not even an explanation the assistant did explain and she left. I thought a lot of hugs and care where is the care. Ok so we are quoted for 580 dollars co pay. Are u kidding me ? Won't go back there anymore and she doesn't do any procedure there. I have MetLife insurance so I was Thinking this is a riff off. Don't go there anymore please it's a waste of time.

Just left the office. My son had a partial put in about 6 months ago and in since has lost 3 teeth and now wanted 50 to remove partial. They don't stand behind their product. Poor poor customer service

Over-billed my insurance for sealant service NOT rendered. When I brought my child to another dentist for the same service a year later, the insurance company refused to pay because the service is good every 36 months only, and Dr. Laurie Abrams has already been paid by the insurance. I contacted Dr. Abrams and received a response that she is no longer interested in serving my child as her patient. Her staff were not much helpful either, as they lacked the knowledge to do anything to resolve the issue of multiple charges for the same service. Went to Adventure Smiles and found them much better at everything.

Dr. Abrams has had many accolades from what I have read and reviewed. However, she must consider who she hires to hold down the fort while she is away. She must realize that having someone fairly fresh out of dental school (even though she was focused and motivated to complete her schooling) can meet challenging situations when dealing with very young children (3 year-olds, to be specific). I am sure she has good intentions to help develop dedicated graduates, but I feel that she should have more experienced staff on hand to handle children of this age. Maybe she should have her staff first work with adults to gain experience of filling cavities so they are able to deftly perform cavity filling on children without issue. Please be aware of that when visiting this dentist. It would be wise to wait until your child is older to handle such operations. My 3 year old did not do well, he now has antibiotics to deal with an infected cut on his lip from a failed cavity filling.

The wait is long, I have taken my kids here numerous times and not once did the doctor ever say hi or introduced herself. Most of the time I feel that the Doc does not take enough time to explain anything to you, it is always the office staff explainig what procdures needs to be done. The docs bedsides manners are horibble. THe wait is always so long, there is always so many patients waiting and in chairs, I do no reccomend this place to anyone and I have given this place numerous opportunities but I am now not happy and am looking for an new dentist. Do not take you kids here

Have taken my kids there for a while but looking for a new one. I do think they lie about my kids having cavities and they always want to add somthing extra to the bill like laughting gas, notrious oxide, etc. Dr is nice but some of the staff is really rude I hate talking to them they act like they know everything and me as a parent is totally dumb atleast that how I feel when they talk to me kinda like talking to a kid. And like someone also mention they dont let you go in the back with them. Wonder why it is kinda suspicious. I'm looking for another kids dentist.

Our family just left their office, it was clean and fun, no waiting time, one 6yr. old and one 11yr. old..both had cavities...fun...friendly staff, attentivly catering to the children, both of us parents were invited to stay in with the children, of course we did..no crying..painless..actually "fun" for the kids, they cant wait to go back. To the Dentist? Really, Thanks Dr. Laurie, Silly Sam, Rhonda, even all the desk staff, all are appreciated. I would have went to the dentist alot more when i was young if they were half as caring.

Excellent experience- Dr. was wonderful with my 3 year old- she let her hold her hand during the entire visit- and no cavities! The staff was nice too and the office was very kid friendly. @ of my friend bring their kids here and I highly reccommend this office.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD! She told me my 5 year old daughter had a cavity. I didn't believe it...just seemed suspicious. She has always had good check ups from other dentists (we just moved to Las Vegas). I got a second opinion and guess what...NO CAVITY. The dentist said it was just stains on her tooth. This office has candy painted on the walls, they line you up in chairs to do your cleaning like your in an assembly line. I didn't even know I was talking to the dentist when she came up. She never introduced herself as the dentist, just looked for a few quick seconds and said...yep...here's a cavity. They wanted me to schedule her filling to be done ASAP and they wanted to know what kind of drugs I would be okay with her getting. They said she seemed good for nitrious oxide because she seemed calm. Weird. Whole experience was weird. I just got the feeling they wanted my $$. Thankfully my mother intuition paid off. Hope this helps with your decison.

Wanted to do more work than needed on my daughter, took my daughter for a 2nd opinion, she needed about half the work that Dr Abrams wanted to do. Also, I was told that I was not allowed in the back while my daughter was getting her work done. Other dentist that I took her to, allowed me in the back while they were working on her teeth.
