My appointment was today Feb. 8, 2024 - Dr. Meckling was prompt, interested, kind, and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with his diagnosis and his suggested plan to move forward.
I would recommend him to everyone in need of a competent neurologist.

THIS DUMASS KNOWS VERY LITTLE, AFTER TWO DIFFERENT MEDICATIONS HE TRIED FOR MY SEVERE MIGRAINES HE SAID HE DOESNT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO. HES NO EXPERT, IN FACT HE FORGOT TO REFILL MY PRESCRIPTIONS NUMEROUS TIMES WHICH LED ME TO BE INPUT TO THE HOSPITAL. THEN WONT ALLOW EMERGENCY MEDICATION TO BE SUPPLEMENTED IN CASE OF MISTAKES LIKE THIS. PUT MY LIFE IN DANGER. IM GONNA X YOU DIKHEAD

Outstanding Neurologist- it baffles me why other's had a negative experience. He was so careful, kind and knowledgeable with my Son. He is a world class Neurologist. He is not phoney- he has straightforward integrity.
People have expectations that Doctor's be superhuman and infallible. Wake up- you live in an illusion. We are so blessed to have such an insightful, respectful and extremely knowledgeable neurologist in our community.

Terrible! Never backed up his claims of how my condition currently is/could be in future. Let me go off of medication and provided no support. Just told me to ‘call back and try to make an appointment if I felt like it.’ No follow up or help while removing this medication which took months and caused worry to me during the process because I had NO IDEA what to expect.

He is very unclear and confusing. Never backs up what he says and when asked for factual clarification, he always finds a way to shirk responsibility and claim it is another physician’s (who? Never gave a name) findings that he is referencing. Find any other doctor but him!

I've been suffering intermittent symptoms for years. 2 years ago became unbearable. Lost my job, had to move & be re-referred to a neurologist here.
I waited a year FOR A 10 MIN APPOINTMENT. .He didn't even know if he had my MRI OR NOT.
No insight into what could be causing my symptoms. If your issue isn't glaring & simple to diagnose he doesn't care about your quality of life.

Dr Meckling is an incredibly knowledgeable and very thorough. I always come with questions and he takes the time with me to answer every one. When it comes to the brain I want a doctor that knows his stuff and then to have someone who relationally cares on top.., wow… I’m blessed to be in his care. Carla (his office assistant) is a ray of sunshine everytine!

Dr Meckling is super intelligent and definitely knows what he’s dealing with, the best neurologist in Kelowna by far!! Made me feel like he really cared about my health and wanted truly wanted to find a cure that would work best for me

Told me to get out of his office when I started asking questions. He is truly one of the most arrogant, ego-driven doctors I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen other doctors who completely disagreed with his diagnosis or lack thereof. He was the only referral available to me. Now I have to try to find a neurologist who will listen. Terrible experience. How he is rated even in the top 50% in Kelowna is baffling. If I could have rated zero stars I would have.
