Dr Alok Banka did not show up though he confirmed the appointment himself and asked me to be present at "2pm sharp". Ireached him via the indirect number available on Practo. Quite possible that there might have been an emergency but he didnt notify the hospital on time. We realized that he wasnt going to show up only I got the clinic front desk to call him up 30 mins later. Lost over an hour in commute and 30 mins of wait time during my office hours. And of course, lost a day in dealing with my ear medical issue that I wanted to consult on.

Dr.Banka is avery competent e.nt. surgeon with avast store of knowledge and experience in his field. he treated my mother and sorted her problem out in the first instance.he was very understanding and considerate with her.he bwent out of his way to make sure that she does not feel any discomfort during the procedure because of her age.he explained everything to us and continued to check on her even later on as to how she was. he is truly a very competent. punctual and considerate doctor.. ararity in this day and age..
