Dr. Goldman was my delivery doc, although my regular OB is part of the same group but not on-call the day of my delivery. Despite a bit of a laissez-faire attitude about my progression in triage (my 1st baby) he was respectful & professional during my delivery. I was adamant (to the point of overkill in retrospect)in having a natural birth & was never once questioned by anyone on staff at Brigham, Dr. Goldman included. I didn't even get an IV, nevermind being questioned about meds. At on point, I asked if it was too late for an epidural & the nurse looked to my husband to answer the question as to not interfere with my plan. We had a perfect delivery, no complications, no problems & smiles all around. Postpartum, Dr. Goldman was equally professional & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a good OB.

He is a wonderful doctor, I couldn't even begin to discuss how amazing he is and what he has done just in my family to ensure healthy and safe deliveries. He is trusting, kind and extremely well versed on any and all new proceedures.

I was stunned by the first review of this doctor. I have always received excellent care from him. He is a very caring man and has shown me much kindness and is a true gentleman.

This doctor was so rude to me, demeaning, and acted like he was so put out because he was called in to the hospital to see me, I was in total shock. He made me get up off a table in which I had been pushing my baby for over an hour on, to be brought to a delivery room he was more comfortable in, I guess. He made a derogatory comment about women who have natural births, of which I did, or at least up until I had to deal with him, that is. I could use some choice words to describe this man. He continued the demeaning and caustic attitude towards me the next day. He nearly ruined the experience of having my first baby. How this person got away with treating a patient that way, I don't know. I didn't have the strength to complain, but I wish I had now. I hope if this happened to someone else, they were able to speak up. Unfortunately, doctors can do and say practically anything they want.
