Dr.Bowes is one of the most caring people there are. He is so patient and kind. Every step of the way he is there for you and really listens. I feel very fortunate to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Bowes is not only a great doctor but also has a great personality. He and his staff were very helpful and patient during my treatment and answered all my questions. It was a great experience all around and I would highly recommend him to others.

Dr. Bowes has been my oncologist since 2013. I have also had 2 sisters fighting the same cancer, just different stages, and they were not his patients, but I also would like to have an impute to express his compassion and understanding of what we are all going through. To him it is not just about the cancer patient, but also about the family, and someone also stated about Laverne, she is such is a keeper, she is a shinning star in my eyes. I so appreciate the level of care and the confidence I feel with these guys. Dr. Bowes does not just think that chemo and radiation is the all and all of treatments, he is so open to new information from his patients and validates or gives you a straight up answer. I just feel very blessed to have Dr. David Bowes and Laverne on my side, I can't say enough about them love love, love! Michelle Messervey

Dr. Bowes has treated me for uterine cancer in 2015 and I've had a number of follow-up sessions with him to-date. Of all the staff at the hospital, I find him the most helpful, understanding and caring. Anyone who happens to get Dr. Bowes as their doctor should consider themselves blessed. He is a breath of fresh air, shining light and someone who "gets" what you are going through this very emotional and tough period of your life. Thank you Dr. Bowes, you are an inspiration and the greatest doctor ever!!! I should also mention that his "second in command" Laverne is also second to none. They make a great team..

dr. bowes treated me for prostate cancer. his approach wasn't available anywhere else in nova scotia. he was competent, knowledgable, kind and very, very sweet
