Dr Rakshak is the most skilled dentist I have ever seen. The first time I needed dental work I had an infected wisdom tooth that needed removed. He popped the tooth out within minutes. Said the tooth was a tricky one because it had a hook on the end of it and it could be broken easily. Got my other wisdom teeth taken out by a different dentist out of state. That dentist broke all three teeth and had to drill them out piece by piece. Took three hours. Very painful! Second time I saw Dr Rakshak, was when that other dentist messed up a root canal and now it was infected and was erupting out of the socket. The other dentist said it was impossible to clean the roots completely out because the roots were very twisted and said the leftover root would be fine, or I would have to go to a dental surgeon and mabey a surgeon could do it. Also told me I have very difficult teeth to work on. Then the root he left behind became infected. I contacted Dr. Rakshack because I was so impressed with how well he removed my first wisdom tooth. Dr Rakshak was unsure if it was saveable, he said he will try and he saved it and cleaned out the twisted roots entirely. It doesn't cause me any more pain. He also has done 3 other root canals on me and they all went very well! I am certain he is the best dentist in America. The staff is very nice too, very home like. Also he has 33 years of experience and not just experience in America. He worked in remote jungle areas of India, where he could not rely on the technology and equipment that he has now and that so many other dentist rely on. When treating villagers in India he had to depend solely on his skills. He does very pain free work! Will only come to him from now on.

A very good experience. Wisdom tooth extraction was painless and smooth, barely any bleeding afterwards, and zero pain. He also extracted a baby tooth and fit a bridge over the space - not only painlessly but it did not bankrupt me. A filling was placed somewhere, I try to remember where because I can't see or feel it. All this he had done while explaining every procedures and carrying an interesting conversation about any topic. Highly recommended.

I am a young women who fell in my kitchen hitting the counter stone and lost the front two teeth that totally came out of the socket. This happened late in the evening. I had read that the teeth should be stored in milk, so having done that I went to the emergency but they could just offer to stitch the area, and put me on antibiotics. I cried the whole night, and in the morning called several dental offices, none of whom were willing to accommodate me. One of my friends asked me to contact his dentist Dr.Rakshak who was good enough to see me. When I reached the office he was really busy but still sympathetically examined me and comforted me with his kind words. The staff did the magic and contacted and requested some appointed patients to reschedule their treatments so that the office could handle my case. Dr. Rakshak after doing Root Canal treatment on them meticulously replaced them back in the sockets and immobilized and splinted them with wires. Due to a lapse of over 10 hours after the accident, he said it may not work out, but Thank god for his timely help and expertise, my front teeth were saved and I can smile again with my own teeth.

I was treated very well and professionally. Dr. Rakshak gives very painless shots, explains the procedure in details, treats methodically and his staff follows up the next day. Very good experience getting a tooth extracted. Five star experience.

This is THE BEST dentist I have ever been treated by and I have been treated by many dentists in the US and Europe. His skills are superior. Today I told him that his son has to be a dentist and he should mentor dental students and young doctors because these skills need to be passed. I can hardly feel when he does injections in my gums. Really- it is painless. I left his office after root canal and felt fine, no torture was done. Root canal procedure was done with minimum discomfort. His crowns and fillings are of great quality and pain free. In addition, to being great doctor he is a great human being. His philosophy is in helping people. Money is probably just a bonus. I feel that his motivation is to take away suffering whenever he can. He is a vegan. He believes in God. He believes in Goodness. He is also a scientist. He explains the procedures. He entertains with fun science facts and interesting philosophical conversations. He has great sense of humor. I will not use any other doctor. He is simply the best!

I am a very nervous person who has never been able to get any dental treatment done without feeling Jittery and have on occasion run out of the dental office just when they were going to start on me. I was Dr. Rakshak few years back as he accepts my insurance. He is the Only dentist in my life who has been able to put me to comfort and provide treatment without any additional cost of sedation or drugs. He injects most painlessly and extracts or treats with such light hands that I never feel him working in my mouth. I am a completely changed man because of his help and can finally smile. God bless him and his office.

I live in Colorado and visit my inlaws in Salinas often.I have had several partial Dentures done at other offices for my missing back teeth. None of the dentures worked for me. A friend referred me to Dr. Rakshak who patiently examined me and had a long conversation with me regarding my dental history. He than suggested that we first modify the existing teeth in the front and correct their bite before doing the new set of dentures. His professional approach helped me get a pair of dentures that have finally worked for me, and allowed me to chew on my back teeth after almost ten years of suffering and drifting from one dentist to other . If you have denture problems, I highly recommend you see Dr. Rakshak for any dental problems other dentists cannot handle .

I have been a patient of Dr. Rakshak since 2004. I have six implants done by him , all of which are doing very well. He is a perfectionist and does evrything very well. He probably gives the best shots in the world, i am yet to feel a single shot given by him. Staff is very helpful and always welcome me with a smile. The office is very cost effective. There is some amount of waiting as many times they have many emergencies, but have good reading material in the waiting area. office is updated with modern technology. I donot agree with other reviewers who have left unfavorable reviews. If someone is considering implants with Dr. Rakshak , donot hesitate to talk to me about my experience. Doctor Rakshak is very knowledgable and did a great job for putting a crown, and doing a few cavities. I did not feel much pain, and the process was very straight forward. Looks like the doctor has been doing this for a while, and it was a piece of cake for him. I had to go in twice to get the job done, and it was taken care of.
