Dr. Morin has been my GP for about 5 years. She is very knowledgeable and always offers alternatives or referrals when/as needed. I really am grateful to have found Dr Morin. She is a credit to her profession and I strongly recommend her to whomever is lucky enough to become her patient.

My experience was the mirror opposite to the one from September 10, 2022. I came out this financially, physically and emotionally worse off than when I first signed up nine years ago.

During Dr. Morin's absences, the three or four doctors I saw were attentive and I felt as though they were listening and doing their best for me. Their notes are easy to follow and captured our appointments and discussions fairly accurately. Mistakes were corrected immediately with an apology before they had an opportunity to snowball into full-blown medical errors. I also did not feel coerced or pressured into any interventions that were not urgent, or relevant to my immediate health concerns.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Morin for many years now. When I first met her, I’ll admit I was concerned that she appeared very young. I worried this meant a lack of experience. However, even if she was newer to the role, it didn’t show and she more than made up for it by her thoroughness, willingness to listen and eagerness to assist with any of our needs. She was my doctor for one of my pregnancies and has been a doctor to both of my children from birth onwards, as well as my husband and myself. We have all had a great experience with Dr. Morin. She is very professional, resourceful and thorough. I’d never once felt like a concern I have voiced has been dismissed or downplayed, which has happened with doctors in the past. I highly recommend Dr. Morin and hope I can continue to be her patient for many years to come. She’s fantastic.

I’ve been a patient of dr Morin’s for a few years now. She is the best most caring, patient and thorough doctor I’ve ever had. I now have my newborn daughter seeing her as well. While she was on maternity leave, I didn’t mind her replacements. They were thorough as well. But I missed dr Morin. Unfortunately I am moving to BC soon and wish I could take dr Morin with me!

I went to see doctor Morin for a personal issue that I felt embarrassed about and she treated the situation with such integrity and compassion. She really made me feel better and less nervous, I like how she respects her patient's concerns and opinions and never makes you feel bad for being nervous about something.

Dr Morin has been my family doc for the last 2 years. She is kind and patient. She is up to date on the latest medical guidelines. To the person who wrote the comment below (in the year 2018 no less): stop shaming professional women who want both a career and kids. You would never write what you wrote about a male physician. Dr. Morin works hard for her patients and happens to be a mother as well.

Dr. Morin was far more on top of things and interested in her patients until she went on maternity leave - twice - in 3 years. Half of the time she has been my doctor my "care" has been managed by 2 different replacements who really did not care about my well being or health at all. When there were issues with the first replacement, who should never be allowed to practice medicine on a rock let alone humans, there was no one to complain to. God forbid she goes on yet another maternity leave. She literally came back for 1 year and then left again for her 2nd kid. I get it, you want kids, but when you take o the role of family physician you need to consider your patients and who you are bringing in as your replacement, because both of these replacements stunk. Since she returned from her 2nd maternity leave, she is far less interested in managing my health and is just not as caring as she used to be. I used to feel like she actually cared about my well-being. Now I really feel I am just another patient, a means to an end for her to get a pay cheque. It is very disappointing to say the least. Then we have the matter of the new front desk girls who are much younger than the experienced front desk staff and nowhere near as good. One in particular is extremely rude and appears to have some major attitude problem as though the world has wronged her in some way. She does not properly relay important messages, nor does she listen on the phone and her tone is ridiculous. I am likely old enough to be this young woman's mother and do not appreciate the snark or the attitude. Things have gone down hill in this practice and I am constantly looking elsewhere for good GP's taking new patients. I'm done being treated like an inconvenience and getting that attitude from cranky front desk child is just pushing my patience to the max.
