I had MRSA he ordered a PIK line examine the blister the MRSA without any further tests he said absolutely it was in the bone and I needed my little toe and the side of my foot amputated asap before it spread to my whole foot or worse my blood stream. When I hesitated and requested some tests he became threatening and told me if I didn't follow his recommendations immediately he wouldn't treat me. He got nasty an insisted I make the decision right now. I said yes and he sent me right to the surgeon that amputated 2 days later. Dr. Barnes appeared after surgery and he said they got it all. So, when I went in a few weeks later to get the PIK removed his associate took my appointment and he told me the biopsy was negative. The MRSA wasn't in the bone. Needless to say I've been very upset since then angry and now deformed.
