The resident was very thorough, helpful and compassionate. Dr. Rosen was abrupt, sarcastic, condescending and completely devoid of empathy. I left the appt feeling depersonalized and hopeless. I would not recommend her for conditions that present with non-textbook symptoms.

Dr. Rosen is amazing, kind, highly knowledgeable, calm and helpful doctor with outstanding bedside manner, as they call it. She is down to earth, approachable and respectful. I highly recommend her. She found my skin cancer and organized my surgery right away. Very grateful.

Unlike other reviewers I had no problem with reception -- but my interaction with them was brief. The resident was the first doctor I saw. He was so nice and listened intently and asked questions, made notes, and made a preliminary diagnosis. I had been a little worried because my flare up on the day of my appointment wasn't as bad as my condition usually is, so I was scared they wouldn't take me seriously... but after talking to him felt good! Heard, taken seriously. Then Dr. Rosen came in. Abrupt, kind of unfriendly. But that's not a big deal -- she's busy. But then... Well, I'd brought in all my products because derms always ask about what I use so I figure I might as well. She then proceeded to go through them, one by one, laughing. And looking things up on the internet and generally being incredulous but also mocking. Being like "what even is this?" "hahaha" *shakes head*. And EVEN THAT total rudeness would have been fine if she'd then said "every thing you're using is snake oil, use XYZ instead". But she didn't. She didn't explain or make any suggestions or give any advice. She wrote me a prescription (without telling me I'd need to take it to a special pharmacy to fill, a whole other story) and sent me on my way. I felt so stupid and flabbergasted but what I wish I'd said was "Oi, I am not the expert here, that's you, so rather than making fun of my products how about TELLING ME WHAT TO USE INSTEAD."

When people say doctors treat them like slabs of meat, this is the kind of thing they're talking about. A good bedside manner goes a long way. Hopefully the prescription works...

Admin staff, both are very rude. They will treat like a piece of ..
Doc Rosen, is polite, but she will not do any work just comes after the residents. Sometimes she came to the room without the proper instruments to check your skin. In my case, she also missed a diagnostic.
Residents will try to push some procedures on you to practice. Be careful, they don't provide you with details for you to take an informed decision. How many stitches, procedure, etc.

Very nice physician, visited twice, right on time, no waiting , to the point, very diligent , efficient, answered all questions. As this is a teaching hospital you may expect to be seen by the student and resident first, Dr. Roses comes in later and checks everything and gives detailed explanation. Definitely recommend the doctor. The receptionist is another story, best if they got a new one as she is not really suited to work with people.

I'd give a 0 if I could. I've been referred to Dr Cheryl Rosen two years ago and yet to have a call back or any acknowledgement that a referral was sent. 5 different referrals. Literally useless. And every other dermatologist I speak to keep referring me back to this one as the only one that can help apparently. Don't know how on earth that works. If you get assigned to her, good luck.

She is a great doctor but has no handle on her admin staff who don’t return calls and are rude. Please replace all admin staff.

It has taken me a very long time to submit this comment. Be aware and informed about the medications that are prescribed like candy. Don't be intimidated by residents who may bully you. I became very ill and Dr. Rosen didn't believe my reaction. But an hospital ITT verified and an endocrinologist supported me. I would never recommend this clinic.

Very disappointed. Waited over an hour to be seen. Dr Rosen finally comes in with her purse in hand and rushed my apt. Clearly she wanted to end her shift. Told me to make another apt to come back! She left before I could ask about other issues I had. What a waste of time. Has no regard for people taking time off work, paying for parking and wasting their time. There should be cancelation fees for dr’s who don’t show up ready to do their job. She got paid at the end of the day and I’m left feeling angry and frustrated.
