If this is the same Nick Anastasia who was an ortho surgeon at PMH back in 1970/80s then he isn’t good. He did bilateral femoral osteotomies on me at age 14 even though my bone age was 13 meaning I was still growing. End result being one leg shorter than the other which we told him but he said it was the way I was sitting. In PMH to get out of plaster and it was discovered by medical students I had one leg shorter. Within two hours I had a new surgeon who a few years later fixed the stuff up by then my leg was 5cm shorter. I’m now 53 and have developed further problems over the years because of his ‘gun ho’ attitude to doing my surgery. I thought by now he would have retired and I surely wouldn’t recommend him.

I was referred to Anastas by My Lawyers for an examination and for a medico legal report, Anastas SHOUKD retire, he didn't look at my X-ray's, he also used a draconian dicta ph device and still managed to make errors in the report, he also made unecassary comments in the report, he was rude, abrupt and had no compassion, And as stated on a web site he's mainly interested in medico legal which is a money grabbing riverside, after researching him I discovered how long he has been in the profession too long, and also how long he's been in bed with ICWA and some lawyers, I sacked my lawyers! Just check out court transcripts!! Anastas Scammer retire you useless incompetent Tool money grabbing shister, My new lawyer referred to him as a dinosaur and was shocked that I was sent to him

This guy is a butcher and the old geezer that runs his practice is a snotty admin. You make coffe and book appointments, you are not a surgeon!

Following an accident, I was taken to hospital by ambulance and had no opportunity to choose a surgeon, as Dr Anastas was on duty at this time. This doctor was rude, impatient and incompetent. His only interest seemed to be finding out if I was a public or private patient. I nearly lost my arm because of his 'treatment'. After surgery (which proved to be spectacularly unsuccessful) and several follow up visits, I was fortunate to find another surgeon, who had to undo the mess this doctor had made. This second surgeon was very professional and made little comment when I consulted him, other than to note that there was severe infection in my arm and that the orthopaedic repair was totally unsatisfactory. He he put me straight into hospital the same day in order to repair the damage. I am left with a disability which could have been avoided if treated correctly after the original injury. I suffered extreme long-tem pain, significant expenses and loss of earnings. On reflection, a formal complaint may have prevented others from suffering at the hands of this person. I would strongly advise avoiding this person at all costs.

Terrible Doctor. My experience with him was awful. He can not hear properly, he is quite stubborn, his examinations are pathetic and his interests aren't with the patient.
