Dr. Bohm is amazing.
So far he has replaced a hip and a knee for me.
Some advice for those giving him low ratings...bring your questions and come prepared...he cannot read your mind. Whether or not you find him personable in the meeting room... what really counts is his expertise in the OR on the table.

Arrogant, contemptuous, condescending. I waited two years for a consult. Complete waste of time. I would not wish him on anyone. He is what is wrong with healthcare. I felt anxious and embarrassed leaving his office. Made me feel like I was wasting his time. Gave me no direction or help. AVOID.

Dr. Bohm took care of me when I broke my arm in 3 places. He was very kind and concerned and knowledgeable. I went to see him about having knee surgery and he informed me that I should have hip surgery done first. He told me it would be probably 9-12 months. Then he told me about the provincial program of sending patients out of province for hip and knee surgery. I went to Kenora and had my hip done and I had the most amazing experience. Thank you Dr. Bohm. I saw Dr. Bohm for my 6 week check up and he was very kind and caring.

Looking over his reviews, clearly I am not the only one completely disappointed with him. Wasted my time. Condescending. Could barely contain his contempt and arrogance. I would rather have life long pain then ever deal with him again. Useless.

Complete disappointment. I was told he was too busy to see me when I was having issues with my hip. Arrogant and off putting. Stay away. See ANYONE else.

I am not sure if he is burned out or if he just can't hide his contempt for patients. I could not be more disappointed with the entire interaction. I had to wait almost two years to be seen. He did not feel I was ready for surgery. I could have sought treatment elsewhere in that time. Our medical system is a disaster.

Dr Bohm is an arrogant, stereotypical surgeon. I had a knee consult with him. I had to wait nearly two years to see him for him to tell me it would be another 6-9 months for surgery?! I was disappointed to say the least. I am not sure how this is considered good care. I left feeling completely discouraged. His staff is disconnected as well. Can NOT recommend.

Knowledgeable, very likable, his diagnosis was right, 15 years later I'm still managing
without surgery on my knee. I would like Dr. Bohm to look at my hipe.
