I guess certain people get different treatment. I’m not denying that he’s a good doctor. He gave me helpful information but I felt rushed. I do have pain. Fair that it’s not as severe as others may experience but the pain is new to me and I’m just trying to process this worn lower disc.

I’ve heard his interactions with 2 previous patients who were Asian asking them to do a Google Review but he failed to ask me to do the same. Was he not happy with me? Did I say something wrong when all we spoke about was my back and attempting to give him all the information I could think of about what I’m going through? I felt rushed and talked over me a lot. He told me he wasn’t familiar with my doctor “She must be new… He knows all the other doctors…” Which means nothing to me and irrelevant to my appointment. He checked my knee reflexes but never examined my back which you would think he would. At the end of my appointment I pulled out my phone to get my benefits information to give to the ladies at the front desk and remembered I forgot to ask one question and he charged at me to look at my phone “Are you recording me?” I told him no and showed him my phone that I wasn’t. And then he walked off. No “Good bye”. 2 other ladies that work there were right there. One (I felt) tried to diffuse the situation by attending to me. I guess I wasn’t worthy of being asked to do a Google review so here I am doing it on my own.

He made me feel like I was not his ideal customer. Just saying it like it is. I wasn’t rude. I respect people of service and appreciate their time. But sometimes when you know, you know.

I saw Dr. Yu for a vsicosupplementation (Durolane) injection for knee arthritis. Greatly appreciate that the office was open on a Sunday to accommodate me. Everything went well with the injection and I am very pleased that my knee pain has improved significantly. Will go again for other knee.

This guy likes to talk over you… has a god complex.. hard to ask questions, vague answers, wants you out as quickly as possible.. .his nurse assistant is marvellous.. wish I could say the same thing about the doctor..not even close…injection’s have done nothing, I’m back to square one.. a hard pass on seeing him again…

First of all! I swear to to God Almighty that what I’m writing here is true.
Run away from this doctor, I had a similar experience if not worse than so many patients with bad reviews regarding epidural steroid injections.
He takes advantage of your pain and talk you into injection to reduce the amount of pain you are going through with your back.
1) He makes you crouch into a position and poke with that long needle which will make you scream you heart out.
2) totally not the proper way to do it, he is required to perform X-ray guided fluoroscopy.
I’m still traumatized till today after more than 6 months. I couldn’t go for a second injection.
When I saw another pain specialist he wasn’t surprised by his behaviour and understood my trauma and told me so many patients told him the exact same thing.

Very rude and terrible bedside manners. I overheard his interactions with others and then with myself. Connie the nurse was amazing, caring with very good bedside manners, and front desk lady was very nice and inviting. Had an iron infusion done here, which went well thankfully. When you walk in it is a small space and can become very crowded waiting. Treatment rooms are fine. I would come back here again for treatment because of the nurse and receptionist. The doctor didn't really have too much to do with my iron infusion so it was ok.

Try your best to avoid this Anesthesiologist. I read some recent Google reviews and made the decision to visit the clinic but our experience was completely different. He is dismissive, condescending and impatient for a specialist dealing with patients struggling with chronic pain. He looked irritated when we asked questions about the efficacy and side effects of the injections.

Although we did go through with the injection, we regret it very much.

The injections hurt a lot. I had pain on left side of back but now I’m worse than before. Extreme pain and I’m able to walk without help. He rushed the injections and did not do them in correct area. My other doctor passed away and she was very professional and she gorgeous if my pain. I’m heading out to emergency now to beg for help. He has left me unable to walk and I would not recommend you see him

Dr Yu is very knowledgeable and professional . He is easy to talk to, friendly and compassionate. He was able to answer all my questions. Excellent staffs as well.
I highly recommend him to anyone that wants to try his treatment methods.
In all, I had a wonderful experience with him.

Extremely helpful and very quick to get in and see him. Made a huge difference on my hip pain. Staff was very friendly. I have to give a huge shout out to him as I saw him on Remembrance Day at 11 am. He had everyone stop and give a minute of silence. A top class act.

Dr Yu was friendly, outgoing and caring. I have been in chronic pain for the past two years. Had to lift my right leg in and out of bed and vehicles as the pain was so debilitating that he was my last resort. The pain was 100% now is only 20%. I am so relieved. Thank you Dr Yu I would recommend you too anyone who is in pain.
