Insurance=other Dr. Lee works in a teaching hospital and as such his availability is extraordinarily limited. I have no idea how anyone got in on a short notice or how anyone can think Cory is helpful. My treatment consisted of an appt scheduled 3 mos out, exam, blood tests, treatment plan & come back in 3 mos to repeat the whole procedure. In a year's time & TWO colonoscopies, we could not come up with an effective treatment. Cory caused many problems. Required 4-5 calls to her to get a script. Once I stood & waited after a procedure for written instructions to take with me to continue my treatment overseas, over the period of nearly 45 minutes she asked me 5 times what I was waiting for before she finally brought me the information I needed to continue my treatment. Research is clearly their priority, that is the nature of a teaching hospital. I go to Dr. Lee if he were in private practice without Cory. He needs more time for his patients then he would easily be a 5.

I wish I could say that he helped me, but I actually believe he made me sicker than I was when I started there. His nurse on a few occations gave me incorrect medications, and I felt that my care was not given the proper attention it deserved because he seems to have to many patients. Good luck to you and anyone who continues care with Dr Scott Lee

Dr. Lee and his nurse Cory are excellent. I have been to three other doctors for my Crohn's disease, and what I value most about Dr Lee is his knowledge, drive and dedication to his patients in this area. It is unparalleled in my experience. They not only took time to educate me on the disease, but they also took time to map out a long term plan for getting me to remission. They are aware of the most current research in the area, and are very thoughful about how it might apply to each patient specifically. They took time to teach me how to administer my humira shots, and offered to administer them for me(instead of doing them myself if I was uncomfortable). They've seen me on short notice when I had a bad flare up, and they've taken my calls with question. Healthcare just doesn't get better than this. Sure - - your local doctor might spend more time talking to you personally, but if you have a digestive disease, and you want your life back, I highly recommend Dr. Lee.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lee's for 5 years and the single biggest complaint I have is his nurse. Because Dr. Lee has no email ALL communication goes through his nurse who often times puts her own spin on my comments or needs. I find her to be very unhelpful and, at times, less respectful of my situation than I want or need. Dr. Lee is busy, his residents are (for the most part) pretty good but his nurse is a detriment to his practice.
