I recently required my first root canal - 3 days before a long-planned family vacation. Thanks for fitting me in! Dr. Bhalla and Crystal were nothing less than excellent. I usually pass out - or just shy of it, when I go to the dentist.

It's the result of a trauma as a kid, which I know is silly, but can't get my brain and body to let go. So when I learned I had to have a ROOT CANAL at my local dentist, I was already starting to go pale 2 days before the procedure!

I have to say, looking back on it now, my experience at Alliance Dental Specialists with Dr. Bhalla and her team, was like going to the Spa. No, I mean REALLY.

First of all, you walk into this modern office, all minimalist and granite - a very clean, modern look and design, and you are met with HAPPY staff. For me, the experience starts just past the front door, and already, the warm smiles and thoughtful tone of the counter staff, started things off on the right foot.

I completed the new patient sheets, noting all my quirks with this process and other items, and was impressed to see the staff actually READ and KNEW what was included there, when I began the consultation. (Usually, you fill it in, and then people ask you all over again to explain, because they didn't read). So this showed me concern, and thoroughness... VERY good things in a dental staff. The consult was easy, clear and I had many opportunities to ask questions if needed. Christina was excellent in explaining everything and assuring me on the key items, and really took the time to make sure I was cool with it.

We were set for two days later and I began the pre-meds.

The next day my tooth had taken a turn for the worst, and I called in asking what could be done. I would have accepted a root canal with a coat hangar, if that was all the had available as it had to get fixed!!

They booked me in an hour later, and before I knew it I was in the chair.

Due to my stress, we had planned to pre-medicate with anti-anxiety meds before the root canal, but I could not wait for the treatment, so we went "commando", and they prepped me in the chair. Dr. Bhalla and the assistant Jennifer were amazing at putting me at ease. Before I knew it, I was relaxing, listening to tunes, and they were working on the tooth. Dr. Bhalla was able to freeze me in such a way that I never felt any pain at all. No "Zingers", nothing. I think at one time I almost drifted off, as the calming nature of their voices started to sound like "YOU ARE GETTING SLEEPY, LOOK AT THE WATCH SWINGING, YOUR EYES ARE GETTING HEAVYYYYY". LOL

Anyway, before I knew it, it was over. Great post treatment, more information, and nothing but smiling faces as I emerged to the front office. It was like coming out of the Dead Sea Salt Scrub room at a Spa. I felt great, and my mouth no longer felt like it was trying to detonate.

Thanks to the team. Really excellent job, and warm environment to have someone take care of an important event in your dental life. I am actually looking forward to coming back - er, for the salt scrub, that is.

Dr. Bhalla is wonderful. I would recommend her to anyone. She is so friendly and professional. She explained everything clearly. Her staff are great too!!

dr Bhalla and her staff are so kind and caring, I was chilly this morning and they brought me a blanket, Dr Bhalla has a very calming way about her and she and her team explain things very well and informed me of everything they were going to do. This was my second visit and because I had been there before I had no fear of coming today because I knew they would treat me well.

Doctor was very professional,thorough and careful. Staff gave updates on progress which is helpful when you have a procedure that is one hour long.
