My experience for varicose veins treatments in the past was not good. I had years of treatments, but my condition did not improve much.
I recently went to the Veins Institute in Laval, where I met Dr. Lapointe . I had my second appointment with Dr. Lapointe for treating superficial veins and I am very impressed. She is kind and caring, very professional and I truly appreciate her advises and care she provides.
The environment is very pleasant , the staff is very courteous and professional. I truly recommend Dr. Sylvie Lapointe to anybody who is looking for a professional doctor.

I was transferred to Dr Lapointe by Dr Danewyck as he was no konger treating superficial veins. Dr Lapointe was friendly but I found her treatments useless and perhaps more damaging. After her treatment,I got more bruising at the site of the injection,next to my knee which I still have 3 years later!Soon thereafter, I went to see a specialist in Blainville who said to me that the bruising was caused by the tissues that were over sclerosed,ie too saturated with the sclerosing product. So all that can be done is maybe laser it,but this confirmed my doubts in Dr Lapointe in spite of her friendliness. Thank you.

Sylvie lapointe j'ai fais deux session et mes Jambes son pas bien du tout
J'ai demanded pour voir l'autre dr Elle la refuses et plus chaque fois je suis a la Clinique
Elle avale des pillules je crois et les malade.

Moi j'ai vue Dre Lapointe et je suis très satisfaite. J'ai dépensé beaucoup de cash dans d'autre clinique qui n'avaient pas le savoir de Dre Lapointe. J'ai été traité dans des cliniques par des infirmières et c'est drôle mais, mes jambes étaient pires...Alors je suis allée voir Dre.Lapointe et elle a fait une écho complète de mes jambes..J'ai payé et elle a traité mes veines saphènes malades qu'elle n'aurait pas pu voir sans l'écho...150$ c'est rien par rapport au résultat ...ailleurs j'ai constaté que Dre Lapointe n'abusait pas sur les prix.merci Dre Lapointe!

I made an appointment for my daughter to visit dr. Sylvie Lapointe regarding her varicose veins . I asked how much the consultaion costs and the secretary told me the consultation was free and just to bring her medicare card. One week before the appointment i called back just to make sure there was no fees to pay and again the secretary told me it was free and if we needed to do a treatment the same day it would be $ 90,00 but the consultation was still free. When we arrived on the appointment we entered the Dr.s office and right away Dr. Sylvie Lapointe started to do an ultrasound without consulting me that this would cost $ 150.00 + $ 50.00 consultation fee, so when she finished the ultrasound she tried to refer us to another doctor in the office. My daughter got dressed and we proceeded to walk to the that front desk but when we went to the front desk the secretary told me to pay $200.00. I was in shock....as I was told there was no consultation ion fees. She then said I have to pay at least the $ 150.00 for the ultrsound. Wow oh wow.... Why didnt the Dr.Sylvie Lapointe tell me there was a charge for the ultrsound before she did it???? Not professional and i FEEL LIKE IVE BEEN SCAMMED..! i WILL DEFINITELY FILE A COMPLAINT in the manner that this was handled.... Definitely not recommended,,,

Je me fais traiter par le Dr. Lapointe depuis 3-4 ans et je suis très satisfaite des résultats. Je vais la voir une fois par année et le traitement dure environ une heure. La qualité des services reçus est excellente.

je fais ce commentaire parceque mon experience avec sylvie lapointe a ete negatif je me suis fais pique les jambe un mois plus tard rien navait changer , elle me dit que je dois payer pour un autre traitement trop cest trop ,apres mavoir fait desabiller pour constater que le traitement navait pas marcher elle me dit que si je paye pas a nouveau elle ne me fait pas de traitement je suis parti et je dois recommencer avec un autre docteur elle nest pas professionel du tout pas , pas de facon je ne la recommende pas
