Dr Abkiewicz has seen all 3 of my children for the last 10 years. I have had no issues with him and found him very good, understand and caring. He is a bit old fashioned but that is what I love about him. He listens to the mums concerns and will take his time with you. Unfortunately I heard that he has now retired and I will miss him!

Dr Abkiewicz looked after my Premie Daughter when she was born in 1990. He was The Best Pediatrician who cared for my Daughter,and always told us the truth when he had concerns,and helped us Navigate this very worrying time. My Daughter is nearly 29 now,and all because of Dr Abkiewicz’s Care.

I’ll never forget how wonderful Dr Abkiewicz and Dr Johnson were to my son whom was born in 1987 with a very rare syndrome. I continued to see Dr Johnston until he died and then continued with Dr Abkerwicz until we moved to Victoria. Matthew is 31 years old now and many many years later I still wish I had theses 2 doctors helping me. They not only helped my son they helped me cope.

Hasn't been a lot of help with either of my 2 children. Time to go somewhere else. Wait forever for a 10min appt. Then get cut off when you want to talk! The staff always ignore you when you walk in.

He is a great doctor, The only problem I have is the wait. They are never on time

Our appointment was moved twice on the day, his staff unable to see why that would be an inconvenience for a mum of 7 week old twins. Upon arrival the two receptionists were speaking inappropriately about another patient which gobsmacked me. when we finally saw him he suggested we discuss treatment for our baby's reflux with our GP, not him. He referred us on for other issues but when I questioned the literature on the most current research he fobbed me off... I looked it up for myself that night (peer reviewed, Cochran data) and found the opposite of what he had claimed. Save your time & sanity- go elsewhere!
