I had a septoplasty and rhinoplasty about 4 weeks ago now and I am ecstatic with the results, even still with some minor swelling. I can't praise Dr George Marcells and his team enough, for such a successful outcome.
During my initial two consultations with Dr Marcells, he gave a generous amount of time listening to me and explaining the process. He was very caring and transparent about expectations. I left his practice feeling 100% confident that I was in the best hands.
The surgery went exceptionally well and to my surprise, I felt absolutely no pain during recovery, apart from a soar throat as a result of the endotracheal tube during the operation. When the splints were removed a week later, I was amazed at how well I could breathe. A week after that, the cast was removed and I was absolutely stunned at how good it looked at that point. Each day, it just looks better and better and I'm thrilled at how well I am breathing now, too.
I'm forever thankful to Dr Marcells and his wondeful team, starting from the Recepionists to the Practice Manager and Nurses, who were all so caring and supportive throughout. I look in the mirror each day and with a huge smile, praise his work. He truly is gifted and is a master in his field.
