Did cataract surgery. Did the wrong procedure… have been to 3 other doctors, all said botched surgery.
Thank god he’s retired.

After a long wait assistant gave a quick, cursory and clumsy "checkup". Dr. Egge looked into my eyes with a PAINFULLY bright light, wouldn't answer any questions, just wheeled his chair back and said "you're fine" and left the room. Will NEVER go back there!

Dr. Egge and his staff are amazing. The nurses took me back right away although I did have to wait a while to be seen by the doctor. But that is usually expected when you come to a doctors office. He diagnosed me with cataracts. I had a lot of questions and he really took the time to reassure me. I will definitely come back to him when I am ready for surgery.

This is a practice I would avoid. I waited and hour and fifteeen minutes to be seen by the physician. This was typical for most patients waiting based on my observation. When I asked the doctor, he competely dismissed and ignored me. There was never an apology from any staff member, with the exception of the office staff, once I confronted them. I found the Practice Administrator dismissive as she took no ownership of her staff's lack of action. To keep patients waiting this long with no apologies is unacceptable and unethical to me. Overbooking patients leads to poor customer service and negative patient experiences. I was sorely disppointed that Dominion Eye Care is operating this way, despite so many strides made in the medical industry with customer service. The care was "fine" as I spent and hour and a half there and saw the doctor for five minutes. I assure you I will not return. I would not recommend this practice to anyone I loved or cared about.

I walked into my appointment today (3/11/10) and sat down. They got me into the room fast, but had to wait a while before the actual doctor came in. When he finally came to see me, he didn't show any interest into my problem. He did a "Quickie" and just said there wasn't anything wrong. Well, after I had explained to him what was going on and I FLAT OUT TOLD HIM what I had he just was like ok, then walked away. Didn't tell me anything I could do for it, didn't show any interest. Google was more helpful then the doctor. Do not go to him, Just a waste of money and time.

Each visit is OVER a 1 hour wait! They should really do a better job at scheduling. If it happens again, I'm finding a different place.
